Anyone know how to order a TJM bumper? Can't seem to find ANYONE that is selling the T13 for the 200, even though a few months ago Summit Racing was.

So pissed at myself for not pulling the trigger then!

Did you call summit? There a chance they can throw one on a container if they are still importing other TJM products.
That's where I'd start

I did, and the guy was pretty unhelpful. "Doesn't appear that we sell it anymore...don't know why." Grrrr.

I'm planning to get the new Slee rear bumper. I'm on some kind of list, I think. No news yet on when they'll be ready.

I think you can special order one through TJM directly. I read a thread to that effect a while back but I think it took a loooong time to come in. I think they have offices in San Diego.

Thought I'd show off the progress on my FJ40 project:

Got the engine pulled off of the frame yesterday.

Update regarding the oil leak I noticed a couple weeks ago. At 69,000mi the dealership found the leak to be coming from the timing chain cover. Diagnostics took a day and the repair took almost two. Pretty rare occurrence I was told. That extended warranty came through...

Took me a second to realize the 50 degrees was Celsius. Dang, that's hot.

You were saying......

Haha yeah but I don't know if you missed the feels like temp and time on mine..

51'c at 10:13pm and with +70% humidity it felt like a sauna

Do you all think it makes sense to add the front spacers to level out the truck? Cost of doing so is $500 which includes the alignment. Mine sits 1" lower in the front compared to the back when I measure center hub to bottom of fender. Besides being level, any other benefit?

$500 seems like WAY too high an estimate.

I paid all of $600 to replace ALL of the suspension. Front coil-overs, upper control arms, rear coils and shocks, and alignment.

$500 just for spacers seems really high to me...though I have not priced spacer install (and I'm interesting in installing them as well).

I personally prefer a little rake. When loading up or pulling a trailer it sits level.

But you should know when I was in high school I had air shocks and had the back end higher in my 73 Gran Torino

$85 for the spacers
$258 to install them
$145 to reset steering, alignment
