sadly, that may be just what happened. i've only been in the big truck parts side of the biz, but semi popular parts are usually bought up by obsolete distribution houses, but the parts that don't move are "bought back" by the manufacturer as scrap and the dealers are told to literally scrap those parts.Thanks for the update Troll - bummer they are no longer around.

I bought the license plate light for my 72. It was around 40 bucks. I don't have the part number but if you are intreseted let me know and I will go find it!
I couldn't find them for my 74, but Toyota used the exact same ones on the early 70's Corolla and Corona. I found mine in a salvage yard.
Got it in storage. Will post pics later, though I thought that I had posted pics of those in another thread several years ago.Pics?
