Good Morning everyone,

Long time lurker and follower.. As spring approaches here in CT, I'm extremely excited to take my FJ40 out of the garage. Purchased this baby in the fall. Drove it a few times and in the garage it went. I attached a couple photo's of my 40 below. I'm looking forward to being an active member of 'MUD's community.

welcome

How did you get it in the garage!? lol. Or is that an optical illusion? :)

Curious of the production date. The bib parking lights and reflector on the apron ended with the 69 model. My 10/69 (70) doesn't have parking lights in the bib and a light in front of the emblem on the apron replaced the reflector. Production date should be on the driver's door A pillar if it's a 3/69 and later. Guessing it is a later 69 titled as 70. When looking for parts sometimes it matters. I know the carb used for the last half of the 69 model is different that 70 model.

It's production date was mid '69, I'll have to check exact when I get home. Titled as a '70. It had a crate 350, turbo 400 3 speed automatic tranny. Great info though!
