The crusty fuel lines at the fuel filter prompted me to pick up some Gates 5/16" (7.9mm) fuel line.

Replaced all of the fuel lines going to the fuel filter, fuel pump and return on the passenger engine compartment from the hard lines forward. Used a little over 4' of fuel line.

I used some zinc plated 12mm spring clamps. The stock ones were 14mm but this line is just a hair narrower than stock.

These appear to be the original fuel lines. Not a bad run, 46 years. I reused the foam fuel line covers as they were in great shape.

Finally finished up the driver door.
Added some sound deadner mats. 2 Amazon basics 14"x10" panels side by side.

I finally installed the moisture barrier I got from @GA Architect 8 years ago and added some foam to keep the latch bars from rattling.

Interestingly, the OE foam pads for the latch mechanisms are still available. What you did is way more HD though

Didn't know but this was easy and cheap. I think I need to remove some foam behind the lock switch though. The foam might be interfering

While is was in there'itis struck again.

Reconditioned the oil cooler and resealed it along with the oil filter mount.

It was leaking severely at the bottom of the old o-rings. They look like they were gnawed on and were squared off.

Where did you source the gaskets for the oil cooler rebuild? I’m sure I’ll have to do this as well eventually.
They were still available at the local dealership parts counter a few months ago. I'll post up the part numbers for you tomorrow.

Edit - Here you go
1 - Oil cooler to block gasket
15691-60010 15691-61010
2 - Oil cooler bolt crush sleeves/gasket

2 - Oil cooler to oil filter bracket o-rings

Made some progress on the cooling system refresh too
I used 60mm spring clamps on the water pump and AC cooling Union.
22mm spring clamps on the 17mm Toyota coolant base and 20mm spring clamps on the Gates 5/8" (15.9mm) hose.
I used a 60 series/late model 40 hard pipe to replace the shaped hose since it's NLA.

Damn I didn’t realize some of those formed coolant hoses are going NLA too. It never ends I guess.
A straight hose bent to fit would likely work but my 40 was missing the factory hose holder so I just elected to upgrade to the later style hard pipe.

It does add a layer of complexity with that little bent elbow hose between the pipe and water pump though.

I just elected to use spring clamps as I had a lot of weeping in my 60 series using the factory hose clamps.

Finally got them all to stop by adjusting them but wanted to avoid that whole process here. Fingers crossed to see how all the spring clamps workout.
