Oh gawd, J! Are these the "fappening" pics I've been hearing about on the news??? Its looks so good! Thank you so much :):):):):):):):):):)

And thanks for the rim info, i figured id probably have to have some made... Damn silly size rims... Or i can just save up for some TR Beadlocks in a 3.5" BS and look like a MASSIVE poser :rainbow:...idk.

No worries P, glad you like the look of the bumper.

I go for the "POOR MAN'S" beadlock... 13.2" wide tire on an 8.5" rim.. HA!

I still believe 100% that this is my favorite thing I've added to the cruiser. Literally been fantasizing about it ever since i got the truck. I can't thank you for finally making it a reality, Jason.

I believe theres some pictures in @The Phoenician's build thread.

I measured my frame today. 27.5" up front and 28" in the back, +-1/2" with my 37s. That's almost exactly what you are and my springs are completely flat, bordering on inverted. Granted, I have different axles, but still, driving characteristics should be very similar.

Good luck on the whole lowering thing. I investigated that thoroughly and came up with only very labor intensive frame mods to do it.

The most promising lowering mod I did not try was to get custom leaf springs with reversed eyes, like the image below. You'd be able to lower an inch or two with a bolt-on mod. Not sure if an inch is worth the money, but certainly something to look into.

Well shiiit haha, I'm just being a bitch lol! Ill definitely look into the reversed eye springs, i didn't even know that was a thing haha.
Guess ill put more focus on width like you said since tall is just the name of the game.

Thanks Johnny

Well shiiit haha, I'm just being a bitch lol! .....

I didn't want to say nothing in such a public forum :p .

J/k, you guy's height stands almost exact to mine.

Since i made J go out and put all my s*** back on his truck to take more pretty pictures, the least i could do is post em up!!

When Aidan and I are get it, we'll add these quarter guards and send it on over to be powder coated.
Thanks @The Phoenician, for the pictures i jacked from yo thread hehe!

So sexy :)

I do not recommend powdercoating. The first thing you're going to do with that bumper is smack it on a rock, then your powdercoat is ruined!

Use a good primer, then paint and you can do touch-ups later down the road.

X2^^ Second the motion... 300 plus bucks down the drain IMO.. PC is good for trailer queens.. but not trail rigs...

well see, but rattle canning it black after spending so much time thinking/saving for it is not something I'm willing to do.
thanks for the suggestions though.

Although powder coating would look great, rattle canning would be better. nothing worse than ruining that fresh powdercoated surface when it takes a smash to some rocks. Anyway, powdercoating a bumper like that would be hella expensive and isn't worth it. Besides you could be using that money better, like actually paying me for helping you SOA your truck...

Aww i do kinda feel a little bad that i haven't paid you... if we can find some black paint that not too shiny and not too dull, i guess spraying it ourselves wouldn't look too bad. just don't want to ruin J's work haha. i guess we could repaint your IPOR rear as well.

Man that looks nice!
I just does, doesn't it lol. i find myself showing it for no reason to people who could seriously not give less of a s*** just because its so purdy.

X2 rattlecan

A little late to the party. you can have x4

P, I use satin black on all my stuff, has a slight sheen to it. Grab a can at HD at try it out. If you like it, there are some brands that offer a better grade that will hold up a little longer. Even it you go with the better paint and primer you'll only be out about 25-40 bucks. Probably have enough to touch up the sliders as well...

I got a PC estimate today from Smoking Gun at ACC and it was super fair, really happy with that price. Not really sure how long it takes for bigger things to be powdercoated, so thats the only downside i see.

If i do find a spray that matches the front ARB really well, i guess ill go that route. Saves a bunch of time so i can just install this thing!

Leave it raw and just clear coat it :grinpimp:

That bumper looks bad ass. That would have been next favorite design, but I need more functionality than sexiness:). Let us know if you're completely blind through your rear window now.
