Yes sir, Although they say it isn't needed I like the extra clearance it provides. Plus it gets rid of that heavy joint.

Damb Manu! that truck looks nice. Super job on the fan and fuel lines. I am 99% sure you need to turn the pump around the other way. I'll call you later this week, I may be able to come by on Saturday if you will be around.

Frank, sorry for the late reply to your post. I've been out getting married and stuff...

Here is the part # that is on the cable that runs from the TAC module to the gas pedal

GM #15233969

I ran the # through gmpartsdirect.com and it came out to ~$33. That's where I ordered these parts from.

I'm pulling for ya, man! You're almost there!

(By the way, I'm done with my t-case rebuild. I've mated it to my H55F, and I'm now moving on to the front knuckle rebuild and front axle rustproof and repaint!) Does anyone want my old 2F engine????

GREAT PROGRESS!!! Very nice work on the fan shroud. I like the brake lines as well. So are you going to drive it when you are done or just sleep with it?? :hillbilly:

I got mine from the local GM parts counter. If I can remember tomorrow during the daytime, I'll see if I can find a number on it (it was around $30-40). I just got a late 1990s one that had two fittings on it.

Ok... enough chatting... get back to work! Just kidding... you are doing a great job with the truck Frank.

And Dynosoar, thanks for coming over and helping out. Thanks to everyone that has given any input/help on the truck... it's almost finished =)

About that FJ45... next year baby... next year! I'm crossing my fingers =)

Start cracking the whip!! He needs to be driving and not wrenching!

BTW if you use your old canister it wouldn't be playing by the rules. But you could use it...
