Firing order? Huh! You don't have a distributor. Just plug the coil into the spark plug below it. It is 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3 but you don't need that info for anything.

I remember we talk about it re:your other car.
I asked cause, the guys at N Hollywood speedo wanted to to know the fire sequence....did not understand (still dont) why they want it to know...but I'll call them and give them the sequence....
I got the brake line from the guys at Northridge, wish I would of visit them sooner... they do really good custom and cheap work.

MANUCHAO- How much is this V8 swap costing you? if you don;t mind me asking. I am interested in a V8 swap in my Fj-60.
6K plus give or take a few extras he has bought...That is a rough guess though.

Peter, thanks for all the awesome help and guidance you have provided, you guys rock !!!
I did all the fluids and loose ends today and checked that thermostat.. it runs at 185 so its good !!
Still can quite get the shifter to do its thing like its supposed to...
Should be getting my speedo this week and wiring is almost there...
Also got the evan canister holder fab today... yeah for a rookie like me that's a half day job... !!!
2point0vtec: I stopped counting at 7k.... I started getting otherparts here and there (I figure if its there might as well replace it). Swap alone I would saythat figure Randy provided is right around there....
Hindsight, I know I could of got a cheaper engine and other items but it sure was/ is a great experience doing this not knowing much and more than a year later its almost finish....
And again Randy is right... this has been the best $$$ I have ever spent...!!
Even tho' the gallon is almost at $5 'round here

Its alive !!!
This morning at around 9:15am we got this thing to turn over !!!
Yeah it didn't start on the first, second or third crank ( but that's cause I had an empty tank
).

Mate, they are a top conversion, it looks alll factory. They should have come that way standard. The swap is a credit to you. I know it was not easy but the results are sheet hot, it does look like a factory swap. Good on you. Hope it all goes as good as you hope it will

A loose ground wire kept it from firing at first. Once the grounds were secured it fired right up. Frank had a smile from ear to ear and his eyes were popping out of his head. It sounds bitchen I can't wait to drive it!
