Nicely Done...... Post up more info and pics on that body lift...

As soon as I get it mounted on the frame I will take detailed pics, they turned out great, and I ended up painting them black..

looks good, I have seen somewhere a trick where you can fix runs with a razor blade, you may want to poke around the paint and body section.....

Noah

Thanks, for the advice, I wet sanded them down w/ 250 grit, then 400, then 1200, then 2000, then I scuffed the entire truck with 2000 and put on 3 more coats, this time really carefully. It came out perfect.. Im waiting to put it back on the frame so I can have some more space in my garage to paint the rest of the parts..

My wife and I are scheduled to have a c-section this wed. Im trying to get as much done as possible b4 our baby girl gets here. Today 1st thing in the morning as Im getting ready to go to work in the garage my wife says, and I quote, "lets spend the day together"... AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH..... I put on my best poker face, bit my tongue, felt one tear fall down my cheek and said "that sounds great".........

You are a smart man. Good luck on the new baby, and good luck on the cruiser as well.

A couple of questions about your rear disc conversion

1. on the rear caliper, did you grind some of the casting so the banjo fitting could come out the side or was the caliper like it is in the pic?

2. what are the studs or bolts you used on the axle to connect the bracket to the flange of the axle?

That's a crazy coincidence, I got about 10 days till our little baby girl gets here as well!! Congrats and best wishes on the delivery.

Yes I did grind a little for the banjo fitting, per posers post.

I re-used the bolts from my drum brake assembly, they worked perfectly.

It also gives me a reason to work my butt off on the cruiser before my little girl gets here...

congrats on the progress so far man!!! just found this post but im right at the bottom of the mountain from you and the work looks fantastic. Was gonna ask how you were sprayin paint in this weather but sounds like you got the convertible garage :) keep it up and come show it off when your done at a local meeting. Stong UC and ONSC presence in the area.

oh and best of luck w/ your new child!!!! now go work your tail off on the 40:D

Looks Great! I'm looking forward to my own build and my first born (March). Seems that so many of us on MUD have more in common than just Cruisers.

Have fun, congrats and Merry Christmas!

Been check'n out the thread. Congrads on the new little one! Brought back memories of my little ones birth about 19 yrs ago.

Your Cruiser is spectacular! Good luck with both
