Been awhile since I looked at your thread Michael, you are getting close! Can't wait to see Sampson moving under his own power. Looking really good.

Well guys n gals it has been a minute since I have updated the thread. I haven't been holding out on you, I've been under the weather a bit lately. But I started showing improvement today. So I headed to the garage after supper tonight and made a little more progress.

Beautiful mate

Well today was the day! It's been 13 months and 4 days since I have driven my Cruiser.

Sorry I don't have a video of the ride around the block. My videographer had to go to work.

No significant issues to report! All in all pretty great day!

What..... your videographer didn't stay home for the event....... Oh ya, I guess somebody has to pay for 45 parts :)
Any way, congrats, the truck looks great!!

i'm so happy for you mate, cos i know how good a feeling it is. how does the mighty 12h-t go? power steering worth it?

Thanks fellas!

Brian I did get the ride in before the weather hit. It was a pretty nasty little storm. I lost a young maple tree I had planted about 11 years ago and we were without power for a couple of hours.

47 the 12HT pulls like a freight train! The Saginaw steering is just plain smooth. Definitely worth the cost and labor.

nice, you have just completed my dream set up. 12HT in a 45/47. have you driven a 61 to compare how they go?

Roma has a 60 with a 12HT and have driven it. I think 45 is quicker because it weighs less.

Very very nice! All that work in a little over a years time. My hat's off to you sir!

So on day two of Sampson's brand new life it's back to work doing what he was designed to do.
