I got the dash finished up.I wasnt going to make a dash at first.I was just going to mount all the gauges in cups. But I started looking at the dash in the 55 after I pulled it and decided to give it a shot. This is what I ended up with :D I got everything all mounted and a co worker here wired it all up for me :grinpimp: And I forgot to take the blue layout junk off of the back so its stayin

Very impresive your job in dash .. congrats dude !

the gauges look sick,
you get that up to 8400 rpms?

Thanks for the good words guys :beer::beer:

Sorry I aint got no new pics right now  The cage is 90% done. The rear bumper is done and just has to be welded up.The custom dash thingy built will be done today. But Im still left with a bunch of little BS.Easy stuff though.

Its still gonna be a mad scramble to get it wheelable by the 22nd to make a big 4WD run I would like to attend with it :D

Chris

Dash looks good Chris. I like the pig-tail connector for a nice clean setup. So does it look promising for Moonlight? I won't be there as mine is torn apart......again.

...NOT! Im going to make it if it kills me :D I get up at 4:30,work 12 hours, get off ,and go to Noels for 3 or 4 hours every night.I was so happy to be at a point where I could drive it Saturday that I fired it up,drove it out the door, and right on to the rock pile :grinpimp: Its not 100% finished, but its close enough that I can go wheel it next weekend :bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2::beer::beer::beer:

Damn dude, this pig flat out rocks!

Damn dude .. a proud 55 Cruiser . !

Congrats .. ! :D

Thanks.

It almost brought a tear to my eye pulling onto the pile for the first time:D

Alright! Looking good. You still have a week to button up some small stuff. Wish I was up there to check it out but we will have to get caught up sometime for a trail run.

Seat belts are prolly the biggest thing to button up.I have some new sliders that were for a Blazer that are going on tonight.Maybe figure out how to cover the hole in the floor over the tcases if I have time.Put some more bolts in the front fenders. No time for paint though :D

Oh yea,and put my t case shifters back on.My first test drive around the place was in 4:1 ;p

Frizzle,

What is going on in this photo?

Is the rear shackle and leaf spring connected to a 2"x3" that pivots in the stock location? Is this to gain additional droop? I have seen double shackles, but I haven't seen this before, how does it work?

Thanks,
Ryan.
