Actually, this would be an update to “What Have You Done to Your Land Cruiser this Week”. I figured I should have tried to keep it under under some kind of build activity but…it’s all over the place.
I had this universal power windows install kit so since I wanted to stick those sound deadener mats in the doors and change the window regulators…i decided to toss it in. It’s easy to get it back to stock in a few minutes so if any ultra purist decided to buy this truck 25 years from now, it can be un-done. I’ll even pack the old door cranks inside the door cavity like a time capsule
Granted, it has taken me a long time to install this 3 hour project. It is absolutely not difficult but I am only spending a few minutes here and there putting it together. It is too freakin’ hot for me these days. Was 94* today and supposed to be 97* tomorrow and 92 Wednesday. Humidity HIGH.
I have posted a few pics from the last 2 weeks and here are some others as this project gets to 1/3 completion. Finish nails in the switch cover helped to align the marks for drilling into the door card

I am going to try to place the wiring tonight if the pole barn cools down a bit more. If not, it will have to wait til Thursday when it’s predicted to be 77*
