So I'm getting ready to put my AOE bumper on and it's going to cover up the blinkers. Is it possible to just move the blinker up to the corner marker light? I somewhat remember reading this somewhere but can't find the thread.

If I remember correctly, I just unscrewed the lower light and twisted the bulb out. Then unscrewed the corner light and twisted the clear bulb out. Wiring and bulb, I just snaked them around the headlights to the other lights.

You simply twist the light bulb harness out like you are going to replace a lightbulb and switch locations.
Its easier to do before installing the bumper because of the hoops and you will have to release the clips that keep the wiring secure so they reach. It takes 5 minutes

Yeah you lose your marker lights. It's like robbing Peter to pay Paul. Don't do it.

I would go with the first option…

I you do a switch, you will not have any marker light up front..

That AOE Bumper is fantastic… GL

Agreed with option #1.

A buddy wired up the corner blinker using an 1157 socket from some toyota brake light. Im not sure exactly which wires went where but i had ground issues using non -switch back leds when the parking lights were on as well as the hazards. No issues when the parking lights were off and signals on. No probs when using incandescent bulbs with either function.

sorry to hijack ... but is it a legal requirement to have marker lights ....we don't have them on our UK trucks. .. all we have is a "Side light" which is a white 5w bulb up front and a red 5w in the rear cluster .... no other on the sides at all (apart from the repeater on the wing (fender)

I think it really varies state to state. In California side marker lamps are require if the vehicle is 80 inches or wider if my understanding of the Vehicle code is right.

I have the Innovative harness in mine, which makes both lights come on with marker and turn signal.

I've been looking for a left and right blink harness out of a gen 4 celica with 0 luck. Found these on craigslist. Gonna pull the trigger and order a couple and see what happens. Looks like these should fit the tab pattern of the side marker housings.

I think I paid about $40 for my harness?? it was a long time ago that I bought it.

Does what you want it to do, put the blinker in the corner lamp without losing the marker lamp.

I plan to actually remove the blinker housings completely if they're going to be covered up by the bumper anyway.

X2 on the Innovative Harness... saves the guess work and cutting and splicing. Big plus is that if down the road you decide to add an indicator in the AOE bumper you can. There is another AOE bumper on here that's has LED signals that looks really nice. .

you could always lightly file the tabs to make the socket fit. If your using depo corners than a lot more filing would be needed as compared to the oem corners which toyota sockets fit perfectly.

I opted for the bumper without the cut outs for lights.

Can anyone provide a good link for the Innovative Harness - every link I've hit so far brings me to a vague page or product so I am not sure if it's the right one.
Jut received my AOE bumper ad need to convert the side markers to turns. Want to go as plug and play as possible and this seems to be the way. I have no trouble doing any cutting splicing drilling but if I can eliminate that then that would be great.
