Dropped the truck off the jackstands trying to raise it up (stupidly) to get the springs put back together. Jackstand slid alongside the frame rail and ripped the fuel lines, so I'll add that to the list of things to fix.

Sorted that disaster out and got the springs together. Need some longer spring bolts, but she's close now.

Is your vehicle lift not working?
It is, but elected not to use it because it's tall enough as is. Glad I did too, because I had to take one of the lift columns down to get the gantry crane over the mill.

****ed fuel lines, fixed fuel lines, everything else buttoned up, and moonshine is mobile again. **** yeah.

Glad you didn’t scratch it!

V 9.3 looking sezzy man !

Some daytime shots. The back of the rear fender well will rub, but it is what it is. Not ready to dig into opening that up before this weekend's trip. Hopefully it doesn't rip up the rear tires.

Gotta say, she drives pretty well on these tires. Engine doesn't seem to care at all, steers well, brakes well.

You're not far off!

Narrower wheel and tire arrangement has netted me some additional room inside the motel, which is very welcome.

Preceding that, I measured tread depth, which more or less matches on all tires. We'll see how these tires do with limited road driving. Need to take a pic of the odometer too.

Slightly longer drive to the gas station to fill up too. No issues to report, drives just fine for what these tires are. Suspension feels notably stiffer which is great.

And...did they survive the weeked?

They got about 45 total seconds of trail time

Shakedown went really well. I don't have any good trail shots or video because the hardest line I could find took all of 30 seconds from bottom to top. Just drove straight over everything. These tires are cheating and I love it. Windrock later this year and we'll really exercise them.

@Zjohnsonua the new spring packs in the front are effing amazing. No more bottoming out all the damn time. Huge upgrade, thanks man, the chevy 63" 1/2t overloads seem to have fixed the front end completely.

Those new tires look great! Something better than my current military MTRs are definitely on my upgrade list.

It looks like your just riding on those overloads up front though.
If you ever pull the front springs apart again, swap up to some 3" wide springs. I just installed some 58" long ford rears on the front of my truck and they handle the weight of the 4bt a lot better are nice and flexible. Some 2" blocks should help with the rub you've got in the rear too.

I bet that fall from the jack stands was scary too!

The overloads run close, but they let the pack do it's job and then arrest things as the pack inverts. Just have to be cognizant of how much inversion the packs see.

Everyone thinks this makes for a really abrupt ride quality....quite the opposite.

Oh i gotcha, yeah that makes sense, its hard to see from the pictures how close they are.

They've vastly increased the ride quality, 10/10. If this ends up failing I'm cutting the truck apart to link it, not going to different springs.

Are those a radial carcass or bias ply ?

Bias I believe. They flat spot pretty good after sitting for a few days till they warm up.

I have the bias creepys and they do that too, goes away pretty quick. The creepys chunk a bit & the treps are worse but they are so sweet,
