I would call the ride horrible........... very very hard still.... not sure if it will change or not...

Remind me what kind of springs are they so I dont have to scroll through 30 pages of this thread?

Also, wondered what kind of special prep you did when painting the aluminum tub?

AR

pinnicle spings

nothing special, just did body work as you would on steel, used eching primer that will work with alum. that is it

I have been working on the bows... did during the whole vikings game yesterday and two full days last week. ... they are lots of metal I am replacing and holes that are need of welding up... it is going well just slow... I am taking pics and I will be putting them up soon... I got my canvis last week so I really am excited to get moving on... now that I am home from hunting I hope to have time most night to work on this... pics to come.. I promise!!!

ok a few pics for now........ still a long way from being done... this is just an example of the stuff wrong with bows that I am fixing, cutting out metal and welding new s*** in there.... also you can see I cut the pipe in half and welded on a piece of flat stock. this has been covered in lots of paki threads. 3rd pic is what I did a little different than other threads. I made these holders to drop down in the tub, then I can bolt them to the triangle part of the tub and it will hold the rear most bows in place.... I will post up more pics of these later... this is all I have for now...

these pics were taken before final grinding.... dont judge.. :)

Boy: you're in EXACTLY the same spot as we are.

What are you using for the windshield piece? I'm thinking about just ordering this Tiger Channel from SOR. But I'm not exactly sure what that windshield piece is even supposed to look like, so it might be super easy to fabricate (I imagine it is).

Seems like a pretty safe bet to spend $30 on it to see if it fits. (note: I'm more talk than action at this point ;) )

I need to order the footman loops and twist locks as well, but I've been procrastinating there as well.
