What are the issues?
Driver side piping is being a pain in the ass, the piping wants to come up right where my top radiator hose wants to sit. Its "okay" right now. But it is riding on the radiator hose, which im not really happy about.

The passenger/turbo side, ill get some pictures in a few to show.
 
Looking forward to final thoughts on the PDI setup, using them was my plan also. I remember Lee wasn't stoked on the fitment in his write up also.

Mine was super tight on my 93 hdj81.

We are GAINING. So, for others that come after me, do not install the transmission while it's in a gear.

back40 ships them in 4th, I left it in 4th. Two person job to get it out of 4th and into neutral, you wont be able to install the shifter until its in neutral.

My wife gently pushed on a 3/8 extension, clutch pressed in, while I rotated the transfercase flange back and forth until the synchro let go, and it went into neutral.

Not hard by any means, but it was stressing me out not being able to get the shifter in.

My redline MT-90 came in today. So ill fill her up tomorrow.

HOLY s***, CHECK OUT THIS DIESEL FUEL FILTER PLACEMENT... sorry excited this actually worked lol.

There are two capture nuts on the fender that line up perfectly, one is a little more offset than the other but it bolted down nice and tight, you do have to cut the lower portion of the mount.

Fuel lines are ran, i just have to go get some diesel and flush the tank before i start to prime it.

taking off work all next week for wiring.

Looking freaking sweet! Fuel filter placement is looking clean.
Is that a socket holding down your air filter lid?
I noticed this threaded rod was too long when I mocked up the air box also. I haven't tackled this yet, Mag is miles ahead of me in this swap, but my plan for this was to shorten the rod, then reapply threading with an appropriate die.

It is, lmfao, a tekton 3/8 drive 16mm short. Ive come to realize. This is probably not a typical build.

Fast, furious, half thought, all action.

Its like a redneck found a 1hdfte in a wrecking yard instead of a small block 350. 🤣🤣

So, whats happened.

Engine filled with mobile 1 10w-30
Fuel tank flushed with 7 gallons of diesel.
Primed diesel to the fuel filter.
Completed intercooler piping, kinda.
Im going to have a shop re-do it for sure.
Coolant hoses, heater hoses are done
Getting Micks harness sorted

Major mishaps, I installed the oil level sensor without the freaking seal. The seal was stuck in the FTE oil pan. So I didnt notice when I pulled it out.

By the time I noticed, it looked like the Exxon Valdez oil spill.

Pretty sure my garage was almost liberated there was so much oil on the ground. So I scrambled in fresh 10w30 for a while before I got the seal taken care of. All good, and leak free now 😑

My game plan for this week, is basically wiring, and finishing the interior. 🫡
