Which gaskets did you use for the install and how have they been holding up?

I used the Magnaflow gaskets that came with the y-pope. I used OEM studs, nuts and O2 sensor/gasket.

Haven't checked the gaskets yet -- only had it on for a few hundred miles.

The Magnaflow y pipe and cat does come with gaskets. I replaced my system with a combo of Magnaflow y pipe and cat along with OEM muffler/tail pipe, sensors and brackets for around $1400.00. The Magnaflow fit perfect with no issues.

I'll report back when I receive the part.

Have you received yours yet? Or anyone who ordered from this vendor get the y-pipe yet for that matter?

I just ordered the 49-state Y-pipe and rear cat for my 80 today from Rockin4x4. Can't beat the price.

Realized I didn't receive a tracking number with my ship confirmation.
Sent e-mail to Rockin4x4 and received a prompt reply with tracking info.

Should be here tomorrow.

Awesome! Good to hear! It's such a new site that I was wondering how their lead time was and such.

Arrived this morning. Looks like it shipped direct from Magnaflow.

Box is a bit mangled on one side but contents all appear good.

Gaskets included.

Order placed.
I'm guessing no one is replacing stock heat shields?
Cool that it comes with gaskets.
Price and timing was impeccable.

Wonder if they will ship quicker them EMS? :rimshot:

Nice

Before you start, you might wanna consider getting another gasket for the rear cat.

I had a heck of a time trying to slide the Y-pipe out without removing the rear cat first.

The stock heat shields in which location? I don't see them needing to be replaced. I have 289k and mine are in great shape.

Does the cat that is attached end up being vertical like the original or horizontal?

There was a heat shield just downstream from the "Y". Mine rusted out and I pulled it off an pitched it. Was rattling against pipe.

My order from Rockin4x4 arrived today. It also shipped direct from Magnaflow and was packaged exactly as shown by PoorHouse. This seller and price are legit.

Best price I found on the Bosal was through Advanced Auto using their $40 off coupons. One coupon per exhaust piece. Free shipping.

Where can I find said coupon? Is this an online coupon code like CC20? (20%off online orders)

Also, anyone have firsthand experience bolting this up to the exhaust manifolds on a '94?

The Magnaflow y-pipe has the 1st cat horizontal.
