I know. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. I just ordered sliders from them.

I had given them pics and dimensions a while back, so they could make the KDSS sliders. I just couldn't wait that long for the development. But they make very nice sliders. But also tells me they won't have a KDSS vehicle to design the skids for :/

Thanks for posting about the ARB skids - if they got tore up on Richland Rd or URE (aside maybe from Daniel), that is pretty sad and I'll stay away from them.
You're not too far from BuBuilt, he's up in the Lenoir area; and he's seemed willing to take in a vehicle to do a design for a product, maybe he can do some KDSS skids for ya?

It was indeed Richland Road that did the damage. I had Bud's on my Tacoma - definitely good stuff. But really wouldn't have the time to leave my truck with him for more than a few hours. I'd definitely prefer aluminum though. I don't want to weigh this truck down like I did the Tacoma. The ARB's would be ok if they were mounted better. But the way they made them, the vulnerable area has no stiffening behind it.

And the rear is cut. I figured out how I want to do the tube bumper around it, but that'll be a while.

Probably the easiest mod I've done so far. Cut it off with a grinding wheel in a matter of minutes

I might, but where it sits now is pretty much out of the way, even though the pics make it look like it's hanging out there. If I hit it where it is now, I'll have bigger problems

I've gotta bump the front 5100's up to the 3rd notch. Just dreading having to battle the KDSS swaybar again :/
I run ASFIR skids for the Prado. Thick aluminum, have beat the to hell and they are still fine.

I like the ASFIR skids, but they don't seem to be available anymore. I have sent emails to them and have gotten no reply, they left the Phoenix area about 10 months ago. Unless you guys know someplace to order them?

yes I have emailed them a couple times asking about shipping and how long to get them, no replies, so I am not sure I want to order them if I can't get in touch with someone there.

I tried getting the ASFIR skids first also. But everything I could find pointed to them not shipping to the states anymore :/
