Yes indeed, I was very happy when I got the difficult one off. Thank you for starting this thread and for your video!
Absolutely. Been itching to get another LX570. Really miss having one

Wondering what you moved off to after the LX? Not many alternatives out there that would scratch my itch at this level.

Ruh roh. I'm debating selling my Silver '09 LX. My AHC is all sorted out now (no more bubbles), I just need to chase down a little shimmy that is probably related to tires...

Even has the Redarc brake controller, thanks to your install video :)

What kind of shimmy? What have you done to the truck so far?

Got a 2004 H1, then realized the H1 is terrible to daily drive. So I got a 2021 GMC Sierra AT4. It's fine, but I guess I'm just not a truck guy. Amazing how the 2009 LX570 felt more modern and luxurious than this 2021 AT4 or Denali does. So now I'm wanting to sell the AT4 sometime this year and eventually sell the H1, and get back into an LX. Would love the 16+ body/interior, but I've driven several and really dislike the 16+ transmission. The 08-15 6speed drives much better in my opinion. Drove all the newer luxury line large SUV's and out of all of them liked the Navigator most. But I've had enough Fords break down on me that I'm never going that route again. Looked at the new Sequoia and it just feels too plastic and cheap inside.

Love that Redarc brake controller! It engages so smoothly.

Yeah man, no mapping adjustments to the ECT really sucks. One day I will attempt a full recalibration too and fully reset “ai” shift.

At the moment, with the pedal commander and in mode S7 around town, it finally drives in a way that doesn’t constantly disappoint me. I wish I could say it did well off the lot but it’s pretty bad if you like responsiveness.

On the other hand it makes the 33 and 34” tire gearing manageable. Hope its going to last as long as the 6spds are out there. Im not sure where this AE80F debuted, maybe it was specialized … or bin. Idk.

I do know they thought enough of it to remove the oil cooler for it in the Tundra. And we get to keep it.

Hey did you sort out your air in the system bleeding? I’m running into the same issue. New globes, bled, drives ok. Sits then goes back to driving rough. The right rear, by the pump had the most air to bleed out. How much did you have to bleed the system to get it to hold the suspension feeling good? Really appreciate it, this is driving me nuts.

I took it to my indie shop for a brake job and they also bled the AHC system. Whatever they did seems to have solved my air bubbles issue. They aren't LC specialists..more like Toyota generalists, so I doubt they bled the 5th accumulator.

When I was chasing air issues, I think I was bleeding it in Low mode. Can't remember my logic on that, but others on here have said you need to bleed in Neutral so there's more pressure in the system to push air out.

I'm still chasing ride quality issues that I'm starting to think are driveline/u-joint related, but the suspension seems to be operating well now.

You can bleed from H for best results.

What kind of issues are you having?

Feels like there is no dampening, after changing the globes, due to this issue, and bleeding in N, it was good. Then I put it in H to get the slider rails back on and suspension back to s***.

Year and miles? Shock age?
It is unlikely air is getting into the system if you do not simultaneously have fluid coming out of the system.
Is your fluid level stable?

Fluid level stable, 2013, 72k, FL truck, zero rust, I did a fluid flush last year, fluid still looks clean and same level, the dampening is terrible, like there are no shocks. It was fine after the globes and bleed then went right back to crap after putting the truck in H then back to N to drive

Do you have damping changes from comf to sport+?

So not really, I mean you can kinda feel it get stiffer with the sport, but when the truck was driving nice you definitely can feel it. I feel there’s still gotta be a good amount of air trapped somewhere, when I bled the globes with the guards off I was able to open the bleeders a lot and aggressively pushing a lot of bubbles out of the right rear, like tiny bubbles. I can’t seem to get as good of a bleed with the slider/guards on there. I’m gonna need another can of fluid and take the rails off again perhaps

Before you spend a lot more time under the truck struggling, try to see if you can get the rear up on some ramps, or find the steepest grade you can and then do several H to L drops nosedown with the parking brake engaged. This should force air out into the reservoir.
I would also check that its breather lines are free, or just disconnect them while you do this.
Also give it some time between H refills to give the pump a break.

Oh! The shop also mentioned that they cleared my breather lines. Forgot to mention that - great call here.

Interesting… where are the breathers? I’d love to get this fixed without more bleeding if I don’t have to… breathers are by the reservoir? How steep of an Incline? I have ramps but I’m not sure it’s that drastic of an incline, maybe I’ll find a steep hill locally

Ramps are enough really, the reservoir needs to be the highest point in the system. Even a 5-10% grade should do it.
I used to do it in my old driveway.

As far as the resi location, hehe, the info must be somewhere on this forum! I cant take away all your fun.

Breather is clear, not noticing much difference trying to get air out with it on ramps, how many times would you say makes a difference? Done it avout 5 times, no fix, L To N is quite slow, like 24-26 seconds, N>H is better, like 16 seconds
