You guys think the Lancruiser board would work with this part. I want to swap mine since Luke said there is a Lexus part available.

I can't answer that question but if you're going this route make sure you can still get the LX board 84014-60210. I can check with my parts dept Monday

the upper board would but the lower skinny board wouldn't. Find someone to buy the LC board(s)
In fact sell the whole lower assembly if you want to go that way, after you get the new set.

bump the LC non nav thread. Someone will buy it.

I returned mine at logo Lexus when I couldn’t find the panel. So I’m wondering if I could use my existing one and save me the trouble.

Luke are you talking about 55902-60130? Do you mean I could get one from Logo Lexus as you stated there are 3 in the country?

I thought you where talking about the LX board not the Panel 55902-60130.. I would keep checking

@LX470Beast do you have any guess why the mag clutch failed? Do you think it was related to the A45 adapter? OR maybe just age, which seems kind of silly, one day it works and the next it fails.

there's another install with the same behavior. HIs didn't come on at all after the swap, but everything else works fine.
There have been 7 installs that I know a great deal about. 2 were 2004 and those ones the compressor won't engage.
5 of the installs have been fine, 2 installs directly by me. I know there are more than that, I've sent out 12 sets of harnesses.

I'm thinking there's a signal difference after the swap, maybe because the extra 4 inches of wire plus the adapter, and also a new circuit board that the compressor lock wire runs through. I know nothing about how long these mag relays last.
His AC light was solid and not blinking.

just seeing if anyone had any opinions or thoughts.

Yes, I think it may related to the initial swap. It may be a voltage peak that caused the problem but I don't have any proof. But here are the facts:
My AC was working flawlessly prior to the swap. After the swap my AC worked for maybe a total of 3 hours. Part of it was at idle maybe 2 hours (I had the AC running while I was putting the car together after the swap and modifying center console) so I was sure wiring was okay.
The next day I drove the car to work; AC worked normally. At lunch, I noticed the AC was not as cold as it should I had to turn the temp down to 21C to get a decent cooling. On my way home, AC was not cooling anymore but AC button was still solids green. On the way to work the next day, AC started working again. At lunch AC not working. Decided to take it to AC shop for recharging. AC shop could not troubleshoot within the time frame given and needed more time to troubleshoot, did not recharge system. Cost $95
Got home and took everything apart and performed continuity testing on every wire I modified or touched during the swap. All wired tested okay. At this point I noticed that the AC light is now blinking whenever I turned on the AC.
The next day I took it back to the shop for further troubleshooting and confirmed that it was the magnetic clutch relay, apparently they bypassed it. I did not tell them that I swapped the AC control systems (still part of the initial $95). Their quote was $780 for the part and $150 for install. Yikes!!!
Ordered the part from Mcgeorge Toyota (They did mentioned that there is two version of the Block Assembly one is $800ish and the other was $500ish, I ordered the cheaper one, they said that the $800 one is an older version). During the next day or two I would occasionally turn the AC on to test and no go (AC Lights blinks). I decided to leave the AC OFF until the new part comes in. Six days later no part yet, I decided to test again and my AC started working again but its not cooling as good, again I have to turn to 22C to get the same cooling as I did prior to the swap but at least it was working. I was thinking that I need some charging.
3 days later I decided to tackle replacing the Block Assembly with the new part from Toyota. Upon completion AC was working better. I now get the same cooling as prior to the swap. I set my temp to 24.5 to get the same cooling as before. I used to set the automatic cooling to 74F and just leave it there no matter what. I did not recharge the AC either and it been working flawlessly since then.

I have a 2004 LX 470 with 175K miles and my AC is always on auto mode and so its on every time I drive my car since 2005 with 12K miles and only recharged (6 years ago) the AC system once, maybe the failure was related to age or mileage.

On the side note: I have the my old Block Relay and someone is willing to change out the $40 relay within the board. Its a lot cheaper than buying a $500ish relay.

Thank you for writing that. It will help. That's very good info.
Hang on to that board with the relays soldered in. Someone will want that in the future. I want it, I just don't need it.

I'm leaning toward the reason being the 88650-608B80 amplifier being used in a 2004 LC and LX. Bill used the 88650-60821, period correct non nav with a higher price tag.
Obviously it works, but something is going on with that.

USing techstream to test the mag clutch works great, and of course it checks fine, and works, and cold air comes as it should. Everything else works normally. Pressing the AC button that does light up just isn't triggering the relay.

If anyone knows more about this type of mag clutch relay diagnosing please let me know. I'm getting to the edge of my know how.

@LX470Beast , someone told me you used the 60821 ac amp. Is that correct? originally I was under the impression that you used the 60b80 amp. Which I know now does not work. And I apologize for anyone that tried that.
It makes me think that you did use the 60821. Otherwise it wouldn't have worked. The 3 that I know of with 04 and 03 that used the 60821 didn't have any problems.
Did you hardwire anything. I'm just asking to help verify the 03-04. I don't really know what you did.

lately there are three people, one installed the 60821 in a 04 LC after seeing that the 60b80 does not work in the 03-04. After he swapped everything is fine.

two more 2004s are doing right now (LC) and since the 60821 doesn't seem to be available they are using the 60810.
