Is this coming to cars and coffee in a few weeks???

Al, I sure hope so.

Best case scenario: we get it back here in time and get the new distributor installed and the static timing reset (I'm gonna need some help with this of course) and of course fluids/oil changed and she'll run and drive and I'll be able to have her at cars and coffee.

Worst Case Scenario: I either don't get her here in time or we do get her here but another unforeseen problem arises and we aren't able to get her up and running in time.

Either way I'm planning on being at cars and coffee with or without her and I hope it's with but we'll see, I'm not gonna make any promises as of now but I'm gonna try my hardest.

Let us know as soon as you get it home and it will be on like donkey kong. If it can run...we'll get it running. I'm sure you won't have any trouble getting assistance from this bunch.

I will! Sounds like a plan Dave! I'd definitely appreciate the help cause I'm gonna need as much as I can get.

Sorry for the delay on the pictures (my bad). She's not perfect (at least in my eyes she is) and she's gonna need some work but I'm ready and I can't wait! How'd I do? Note: I do realize the doors and top are different colors so they aren't the original ones with the truck (first owner sold them). Am planning on repainting down the road once I get the money, time, and once I have her in good mechanical shape. I also have the 2 sets of amby doors and jump seats, and an extra front door at my house already. The top that is on there isn't the best one either. The really good one is still at the guys house with the 40 along with some other extra parts we didn't bring back.

Looks good man. Are you going back for the extra parts?

Got the shipping figured out. The guy that had her is going to bring her down on a trailer for us. We told him of our plans to have it shipped and he said that was ridiculous to pay to have it shipped. He said that since he knew how much I'm into it and seeing as we made two trips up to Maryland, that he would bring it down on a trailer for 200 bucks plus the cost of the trailer. This is unbelievably great! He said he'd like to save us some money (which he is!) and that he wants us to have piece of mind since we'd know and trust the person towing it (which is him). He's towed it from South Carolina up there to Maryland before so I trust him and I know he knows what he's doing. He is by far the been the best seller of a 40 that we've dealt with during the whole search and he's a really great stand-up guy (he's in the military by the way). I also got the extra parts home and have been going through the boxes and its like x-mas morning for me haha! He said he's gonna let me know this weekend (so either today, tomorrow, or Sunday) when he's going to come down and bring her. It'll be sometime this coming week! Finally! She's going to be here! I can't wait!

And also. I'm a big believer in cruiser. ESP after winning one so always remember his favor to you and pay it forward!

I definitely will Josh! Mine was from about 25 minutes north of DC and 25 south of Baltimore. Small world haha. Mine spent its entire life in South Carolina and Georgia until the guy that we bought her from had to move up to Maryland cause his work in active duty in the military.

Ok, I am not the brightest bulb on here but that to me would = a bit too much money. What is the cost of the trailer ? Is he giving you the trailer to keep after ?

Wooooooohooooooooo!!!!!

She's finally here! Safe to say best day ever! I even got to steer it off the trailer and hold the brakes down! That manual steering's gonna take some getting used to haha. Been a long day coming, but I couldn't be one bit happier! By the way I'm back from the dead haha!
