spresso- how large was your gap between the fender and bumper?
LJ's looks a little close... any contact yet?
Its adjustable.
Leo,
The three bolts on each of the two vertical plates are slotted; this is where you can adjust the height.
Leo, I modded the side brackets to allow fitment of the Warn 9.5XP; that's as large a winch as you can get in there. Personally that is all the winch you will need. I was told by Warn, at the time I was winch shopping, it was there most conservative rated winch in their line. It does cost more but its made here in the USA and I can attest to pulling my rig with trailers (~9,500lb weight) out of some precarious situations including steeps on shale with direct pull. Add a snatch block and you're covered where ever you may wander!
Leo, I'll make you a great deal on that light bar I fabbed for the Solstice. Its sitting in the garage waiting for another Solstice array
. I've got a slightly different bar planned for Christo's bumper.
there has got to be 80 pictures in this thread. All are in the driveway, and all are facing the same direction. does your 100 ever leave the pavement dude?
Nick, are we gonna get snorkels before SNT?![]()
Leo,
I found some shots of how much my ARB moves with the frame while wheeling. This will give you a idea how much these things actually flex.

and my total gap:

I am pushing it with how close you can get, but so far I haven't hit the fender. I'm not sure if putting a winch on the ARB would effect how much it can shift. Mine is pinned FWIW
