Leo,
The three bolts on each of the two vertical plates are slotted; this is where you can adjust the height.

ohhh gotcha. How much space did you run between the bumper and your body?

Before the body lift I suppose it was about 10-15mm (so that it compressed the rubber bulb seal about 1/3-1/2 or so). After the body lift it was a little more.

Also, whats the issue about fitting a winch thats bigger than 8,000 lbs? Is there not enough space for a 9,500k winch? or is the 9.5 that you used a little bulkier than others?

Leo, I modded the side brackets to allow fitment of the Warn 9.5XP; that's as large a winch as you can get in there. Personally that is all the winch you will need. I was told by Warn, at the time I was winch shopping, it was there most conservative rated winch in their line. It does cost more but its made here in the USA and I can attest to pulling my rig with trailers (~9,500lb weight) out of some precarious situations including steeps on shale with direct pull. Add a snatch block and you're covered where ever you may wander!

looks like I'm sold on the 9.5 XP! Dan, I was considering adding two more fog lights in addition to moving the fog lights back cos they stick out too much on the tjm. I saw your solstice LED's mounting system, you wouldn't happen to have more details on that mounting system would you? I like the placement and I might just copy your design

Leo, I'll make you a great deal on that light bar I fabbed for the Solstice ;). Its sitting in the garage waiting for another Solstice array :). I've got a slightly different bar planned for Christo's bumper.

sent you a pm!

Since I have been on these forums, many people have had reasons to hate the fender flares. I just found my reason! Very flimsy pieces of plastic! Therefore, they are off!

i dont understand some things going on here.
1. Why the hell are your lights smoked out? Doesnt it make the lights dull?? 2. Why are your Hella lights pointed at the ground? and C. why the are your running boards still on??

Nick, are we gonna get snorkels before SNT?:D

I have 2 - 4 1/2" hole saws available. Brand new for $19 shipped each.
A 4 1/2" hole saw is needed for installation of the new style snorkel on tha 100.

Leo,

I found some shots of how much my ARB moves with the frame while wheeling. This will give you a idea how much these things actually flex.

and my total gap:

I am pushing it with how close you can get, but so far I haven't hit the fender. I'm not sure if putting a winch on the ARB would effect how much it can shift. Mine is pinned FWIW

Nick, your arb makes me wna go and get my TJM powdercoated. I will be adjusting the TJM this weekend, but I'll need a way to cover up the gap
