I'm waiting for my OME 866 springs to come. I do however have something new to share. Clear turn signals! I want to get the HID projector lights in the future.

Nice truck! Same color as mine.

Let me know if you want to get rid of the stock turn signals. I busted my passenger side one on a wheeling trip.

I finally ordered my OME springs today, but I had another question before I buy my spacers...

I asked this question about using a 5 on 4.5 adapter on a landcruiser. I know that it won't work. Will an adapter that will change the 5x150 to a 5 on 5.5 work? This is the bolt pattern on a ram 1500. I'm trying to make it so that I have more options in terms of wheels

LJ, that's not going to work.

1) 5x4.5 has a bolt circle (center to center) of 114.3mm. The center bore (hub size) on the 100 is 110mm. Take your front and rear center caps off and examine it a bit with a ruler. This may help you understand what I'm saying. A jeep owner could use 100 series wheels with an adapter but not the other way around.

2) Most 5x4.5 wheels are near zero offset. Add any size spacer and you'll be in the negative offset arena. Say it was a zero offset, 8" wide wheel, or 4.5" backspacing. Add 1" spacer and you'll be down to 3.5" backspacing.

The 100 uses +60mm offset wheels (8") width. This is almost 7" of backspacing.

Which wheel style do you want?

I do not think it'll work for the same reasons.

5x150 is 5x5.9". All you need to do is widen the holes on the wheels by 0.2" on each side! I'm kidding but I do remember at one time seeing mag type wheels sold with oblong holes. Don't do it!

If you must have something different, save your pennies and buy these Walker Evans wheels. I think the 17x8.5 with 6" backspacing could work. They don't list the 5x150 bolt pattern but it should be easy for them to build since they offer them in an even larger PCD (bolt circle).... or you can try buying them blank and having a machine shop drill them for you.

I'm going to look into those, thanks

I know everyone here is not a fan of posting pictures of parts without them being on the the LC itself, but I guess having the parts laying around until I have time to install them counts as progress hahaha Got these in the mail today with the help of my local 4wheelparts. I hope I can install them this weekend. And I have something planned that nobody has seen on a 100 series before. Well, maybe its been done but I dint see any pics here on these forums. stay tuned:cheers:

I'm assuming 866's?

Now install them right now!

yes 866's. Thanks for the help btw. And I will get to installing them, but midterms are this week haha gotta focus...but the box of OME springs sitting in my room are really distracting me haha

I know how ya feel.

Gimme an email or whatever if ya need help. Just get them installed!

And what's this "never been done before" thing? I don't like these guess and wait games!!!!

My idea was inspired by your 100 series having a black grill. It has something to do with the front end of my 100...lights and grill
