I've wanted to open my headlights and spray the chrome bezel that goes around the actual reflector foreever. Just can't get the b*lls to open my headlights. Anyone want to donate a pair ?

I already have my headlamps blacked out...I jus have to take off the brush guard so I can mount them. I'll probably just install them the same time as the 866's. Are you going with blacked out or smoked?

I thought about doing the same (not tint the lens but black out the inside surround) when I installed my HID's but didn't think it would look as good on a black LX. Plus, I would have had to change the Hi-beams to projectors too... or use Bi-xenon on the main headlamps.

I dint black them out all the way, I jus smoked them a bit. I'm not sure how much light transmission there is on blacked out headlights but I assumed it was less than a smoked headlight. On the smoked headlights the light transmission is 98% depending on how dark of a tint you used...so the brightness of my lights will be really close to factory

Looks like a star wars gun.

I want to spray the bezel flat black inside, if you look at the headlights, you can see how the bezel price follows the same lines as the grill, I think it throws the black grill off when interupted by the chrome headlights. I just don't know how to open headlights and then seal them properly. I guess I could google it....duh

I agree with it does look like a star wars gun, I wouldn't mind having HID's like that but on a 100 series...does anyone have a pic?

I was looking through old picutres and forgot that I never mentioned how I have somewhat of a sound system in my car...first upgrade that I did when I got my 100 series, looks pretty factory. I figured that this should be included in my build thread even though they've been in my 100 series for a while now.

Sound system:
Pioneer AVIC 9000=iPod integration
2 12" JL audio W3 subwoofers
4 pioneer 6-1/4" 3 way door speakers
Phoenix gold 1000 watt amp

Too bad, i had a 4 month old Pioneer (Premier series) Nav system, Ipod, BT, Siruis, DVD, handsfree that was in my 98 100......I took it out when i bought my 03 2 weeks ago......it is the AVIC-X910BT model

no need for it anymore...
