Nice looking! Did you make modifications before it left the dealership or is that stock?
It was modified at my request by the dealer. Just my skid plates are left to do now. And they will be here tomorrow.
 
@cruiserdan was playing hookie from the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum so we were short a resident Land Cruiser expert. We found this gentleman wandering around the museum so we gave him Dan's desk for the day :D

Would you mind sharing what you did to the suspension, if anything, and what size/type tire you put on? It's a strange angle but sure looks like my ideal set up. As for skip plate, are you getting the ones on FE or something else?

  2. When can we expect the Land Cruiser 300 to return to the US?

Adding further, at LCDC I was shocked at how upset I was getting each time I went to set something on my tailgate to only remember it was gone.

255 80 17, Falcon Wildpeak. Leveling kit no lift yet. OE skid plates and I might do sliders in the future. Every Toyota I've ever owned ran 2mph lower than gps. With these new tires it is right on the money.

Ha... we had plenty of respectful talking points. After ripping around in the MegaCruiser, I was advocating for 4-wheel steering on all new Land Cruisers. Also jesting of course.

Thanks for the info! I am new to this but trying to learn as much as I can before I do any mods. Interesting you have put on 33" but slightly more narrow than what was even stock. Which I hear is a good thing from practical standpoint for most off-roading. And should not affect mpg's. Seems the change to 17" wheels is good idea and gives more options on tires. I think the leveling just raises the front slightly to match the rear for a bit of clearance for that taller tire?

I'm towing with a GX470 and very happy with it, but looking at swapping to the 250 soon. I'm at about 2,600 fully loaded on our teardrop with a 300lb tongue weight. How's the rear sag on the LC when towing? And not really a factor, but curious what the MPG comes out to with a trailer behind you.
It will sag without a WDH, but with it, you are fine. MPG drops roughly in half. You will be boosting a lot, which sucks the gas!
 
Quick question. I've got a 250 on the way and noticed that the factory crossbars aren't slotted (for rack for fly rods) or adjustable fore/aft (for roof box) so I'm going to pass on them. Those don't look like the factory cross bars, are they Yakima?
