Mine just landed in Mississippi

Is the door edge guard clear, like extra thick PPF? If so and it's anything like the ones on our Silverado horse hauler, they're actually the best thing I never wanted (until I had them).

Painted and thicker than PPF. Not really noticeable with the doors closed.

If I was building it for myself I’d push it more but I want this to just have a better look. My daughter is used to driving a cool Land Cruiser

Leaning more towards a 285/75R18 right now. Not sure what will be “too much tire” for this power plant yet. On my 100 and 200, 34s were the max before it became unpleasant to drive without a re-gear.

Yeah I have 34s on my 200 and they are truly the perfect tire. As I said, since it’s going to be a DD for my 22 year old I just want it to look a bit cooler a not have to deal with cutting or spacers

The side moldings are definitely an interesting touch. Gives it more of a 200 feel - at least from this angle.

Thanks! I don’t think it’s possible without cutting some brackets on either side of the spare. Even with that you’d be close to the panhard bar. I’ve seen one on IG with the new KO3 in LT275/70R18 - 33.2” according to BFG. They said it fit with not mods. I’m not sure a 34 would fit. I’ll try to drop the spare later this week and dig a little deeper.

Test fit on BFG KO3 275/70R18 @ ~ 33 psi. Fits in spare, barely. A couple mm to spare. I pushed it rearward where it is touching the hitch to gain a little clearance near the diff. It’s close. Don’t think I could fit any larger in the spare.

Stock Geolandar on stock wheels = 71.1 lbs. KO3 on stock wheels = 91.3 lbs

Bah - it would be really nice if the 250 accommodated a ~34" tire in the spare location.

The start of my build. Coming from a 200 series. First step was wheels and tires. I removed the air dampers on the front fascia and the front mud flaps but not sure it was 100% necessary. No lift or any further modifications. After a 30 mile trip, no noticeable road noise and lost about 1.5mpg.
