Quick question ,

i went to pick up some knuckle bearings KOYO TR0305A
from a fairly big bearing supplier here in Canada.I bought them there 5 years ago or so . he looked them up they had none in stock ,he phoned KOYO so he said ,and they told him they don't support them anymore, which he said meant that they are discontinued .he also said they told him that they had none left in North America so buy them wherever you can find them .

anybody else ever heard anything like this ...:hhmm:

this is where i went to buy them

That's an awfully popular part # to have been suddenly discontinued. I have to call shenanigans. Check here:

You are correct, the factory is not making TR0305A.
We currently have orders with our factory to produce TR0305AF4. I do not know if this is an equivalent replacement.
Our factory order is expected to arrive in approximately 2 months.
Note: we can not sell to the public.
We can only sell to manufacturers and bearing distributors.
Please contact bearing distributor in your area.

Jake, ask for a shop drawing. Chances are it's the same bearing for our purposes.

There is a Timken research facility down the road from me. It would be interesting if there was a newer technology out there that could replace the standard bearings. Would be interesting to see what an engineer would say about our application. These little bearings take a pounding when larger tires and bigger backspacing is used.

I'll see what I can find out.

Hit Marlins page up and see what he has going on concerning these knuckle bearings....

Ditto, he's got an upgraded setup on the market. Pretty beefy.

And yes, we've been using the TR0305AF4 in our kits for ~4 years now. Same bearing. If you need loose ones I've got hundreds in stock.
