Anyone have any issues with the adapter not sealing correctly with the filter? It seems mine weeps a tiny amount on the left side, shown below.

Other than this I love the modification. I used a ratchet/filter socket to tighten it down more about 1/4-1/2 of a turn, previously I had just tightened it by hand. However when the filter was in the original position I would also tighten it by hand and I never had any leaking. I'll keep an eye on it the next few days. Just wanted to see if anyone else had a similar issue.
Hi guys, another data point: I bought and installed this Ford Racing adapter to address the cold-start rattle on my '94 1FZ. I would say the rattle is reduced, but definitely not cured. I have not touched the tensioner yet, although maybe cleaning or replacement is next on the checklist. Just an anecdote from someone who didn't have a cure-all experience with the 90 deg. oil filter adapter.
FYI...Couldn't get this adapter to work with the larger filters. Removed breather and harness connector from frame mounting points, still no way of fitting.

This is a long shot, but does anyone happen to have one of these available? Or does anyone know a place where they can be bought in-person? Literally everywhere online has them out of stock, and I want to install it soon when I do my oil change.
