Yup, the CB is for entertainment or short distance comms, while the HAM is for serious back-country communication.
Drawers are Outback from ARB.

The console is a Non-US part, out of a Cruiser from Egypt. Originally housed the compass and subtank gauge and came with my whole subtank setup. I re-purposed it to house the head unit for my HAM radio.

Supposedly these are still available outside the US. ToyoDIY is coming up with the following for all searches on 90 through 97 Cruisers in the General and Japan markets , so I am assuming one from an earlier model FJ should bolt-up with an FZJ. Mine came out of a 92 or 93 IIRC.

You would also need to change out your visors to the ones without "ears", or modify them.

A local 80 guy outfits security vehicles and he was able to sell some dinged & scratched items from the shop. I believe this is a police cruiser cup holder. I just sanded down the nicked powder coat and hit it with brown spray paint. Then I drilled some holes in some scrap metal for added strength behind the plastic center console and bolted it up.
