Please keep us posted with details of the airbag install. Pretty sure I'm going to need to add bags to my truck to support the ~400# tongue weight.

Through much effort we were able to get the mattress back to normal but still have our eyes (and noses) on it.

Once it's fully dried out, get some unscented Febreeze and spray the hell out of it, let it air out, and repeat a few times. So long as there's no mildew growing on it Febreeze will resolve the smell.

Seriously Febreeze is the shiznitz. I once had a gas can spill in the back of my 4Runner. I tried shampooing it. I tried a detailer who also used an ozonator. Nothing seemed to get the smell out. I was ready to light it on fire and roll it off a cliff when a friend suggested Febreeze. A few passes over a couple days and the smell was gone*

*Ok technically it's never "gone" as Febreeze works by basically absorbing the smell and preventing it from being released, but as far as you or I are concerned it's gone.

I expect @TrekboxX will be making them at some point as he did for the 100 Series as well. The one we made will definitely do the job but there's a reason I didn't take any close-up photos :)

Wow, thanks! Happy to help if you have any questions.
Yep- I have another 200 in the shop for a couple weeks. I'll pattern the tailgate and get you guys sorted!

That’s great to hear. Love the tailgate cover and pad on the 100 and would love to buy one for the 200!

Are you still considering the Emu-Wing windows?
I just ordered a set for the Troopy.
I can report on the quality if you're wanting to buy.

I'd like to see someone else do a 2016+ install first. People that have them seem to really like them so I don't have much concerns about the overall quality. They'll be excellent on the Troopy!

Finished up another chore tonight. I added a Wema (now KUS???) gauge to the main water control panel on the rear. I cut and sanded the mounting plate from some ABS I had laying around. The quick disconnect above is 1 of 2 outlets for the water system. This one will mainly be used for the shower, cooking, and cleaning. The one closer to the tank is for filling water bottles and hand washing.

The gauge features a decent red backlight that is only on when there is power to the water system.

Nice, that beats the hell out of the gauge in my trailer, which has a total of 4 lights to tell me full, 2/3, 1/3, and empty.

How do you determine water level? Did you add a float? Or do you have an external ultrasonic strip on the tank?

Side note: I picked up the Simarine Pico recently and am going to try it for battery, tank, and solar charge monitoring. It's probably overkill for your setup but if it works well I'll let you guys know as it not only displays real-time amperage use and temperature draws but also stores historical usage (so you can see what your true amperage draw or temperature is of your fridge over the course of a trip, for instance). There are shunts for monitoring things like winch load, inverters, multiple batteries, fuel tanks (aux tank?) etc.

An all-in-one unit would be pretty cool... definitely a good fit for a trailer. I have a shunt on the aux battery right now (Victron BMV-700 Series) and that’s been pretty cool for monitoring usage though I haven’t gotten around to fully calibrating it yet.

I’m using a basic tank sending unit (WEMA USA) but don’t have that piece installed, yet (waiting for the tank to arrive).

I was considering the BMV-712 but I'm a sucker for technology and so I'm going to set up the Simarine Pico. Hopefully it'll be worth the extra $380...

Someone else mentioned these as an alternative to a float sensor and said they had really good luck.

The float is fine with water but in gray or black tanks they will get stuck. The above are ultrasonic, I believe. Full disclosure, I haven't tried one.

I don’t know if these (Gobius | Tek-Tanks) are ultrasonic but I did look into this option as well. I just kinda liked the simplicity of the floating gauge :) Good luck with that Pico device though!

Thanks. I'm interested to keep watching your build and see how it progresses. I love how you guys have squeezed most of my 20' TT into your rig :-)

The airbag installation went off without a hitch today. As I've previously posted, I installed the pressure sensors, gauge, and paddle switches in the glovebox and ran the air plumbing to the rear kick panel a few weeks ago.

In-Cab Controls - AC1030D - Dual Digital Gauge & Pneumatic Switches with Adapter Kit for Existing Compressor

Add Pressure

Reduce Pressure

I was too lazy to do center of hub measurements, but I'm getting a relative 1.5 - 2 inch range going from 15 psi to 60 psi. I haven't had a ton of time to test different pressures, yet, but 20 psi seems like a safe pressure for normal use. I could see going up to 30-45 when heavily loaded for trips.

Wow the airbagman ones got to 60 psi? The firestone bags I'm using only go to 30psi (35 for stock height).

Nice setup. Wish I'd put mine in the glovebox.

Thanks! Yeah, I went with the Airbag Man setup because of the control kit and the 60 psi ability. The bags are the same as yours (I think), but Airbag Man adds this heavy duty fabric overcoat for higher pressure.

@TrekboxX How does that tailgate cover attach?
