If you could paint your 40 any color what would it be?

Dune Beige and Mustard are my favorites, but my Rustic Green that I didn't like at first is really growing on me now. No offense to those that have them, but IMO red is over done now, seen too many of them.

Im partial to rustic green myself

But I have just bought a 1983 FJ40 LX in Aus and am in the process of importing it to SOUTH AFRICA and this one will be the same matt gunmetal silver of the ICON, the same as the soft top in pic below but with standard white bezel - black wheels - and white roof

Yours looks close but maybe not the exact same (could be the lighting).

Mine isn't OEM. It was resprayed by the PO in Moorland Green code HET/717 (semi-metallic). It is a Jaguar color used in '86/87 on the XJ I think.

Po painted mine charcoal grey not recomended. I hope he just had it laying around from another project and didn't pay good money for it. Lol
