So I hate it. It was on it when I bought it. I like the lower portion without the upper brush guard/bull bar, and before I chop that portion off and clean it/weld it smooth, I thought briefly of selling it or possibly trading for one that I like better. I'd assume it has more value complete, but I have no idea what it's worth.

Here is the issue, Shipping. Min it is 150 from Fastenal. that is you putting it on a skid and strapping it down.

Now figure that a new one can be had for $902 (including shipping from lots of places) and less with some of the bigger companies promos (coupon codes)

Used less than $600 and then it will be up to whomever buys it, condition, etc.

Lots of people will say yes i will take it, shipping will be the killer.
Now you have an older model with the extra bar guards. That may be a selling point (it would be for me) the newer style does not have this.
so before you chop it up throw it up in the for sale section.

That's the early version and has not been in production for years. Personally I prefer this model over what is available now from ARB. I'm sure you could easily sell that for the price of a new bumper of your liking. Looks to be rust free and the new version sells just a tad under 1000.00 bucks.

I paid $600 for a cosmetically not perfect of that bumper via a local sale. I was happy considering that I think it looks better and has been out of production.

Have you ever seen a female decide about redesigning an already perfect kitchen?: we are now on the cruiser female side so whats on must go, whats gone must come back, current color has to go, tinted screen must be untinted, lift must lower...:hillbilly:

Are you saying @BlackCat is a female? And she's being flighty? I'd take that bumper in a heartbeat over my smittybilt tube bumper... at least you can see the emblem when it's inplace, w/ the smitty you can't. Does that make me flighty too?

The newer style bumper does not hang as low and therefore offers a better approach angle. I like the new style better myself but that's just me.

I bought mine used and had a buddy pick it up for me, but I gave $500 and was happy to get it,I really like this bumper....the guard saved my p/s fender from a pretty good shot a couple months ago

Heck yes, keep that bumper. It really goes with the vibe of the 60.

And the upper bar will save your radiator and grill if you hit a deer.

I paid $250 for mine as a reference point, probably worth a bit more now.

Funny comment about a woman remodeling a perfectly good kitchen.^ I know someone like that.:hillbilly:

I'm in the desert, what are these "deer" you speak of. Unless a cactus walks across the road, or a Javelina, I'm not worried about that. But I do dig the vintage vibe it has, but other than that I don't really like it.
Edit; I've since seen several pics of the bumper with some round light on them, which in my opinion kind of breaks up the hugeness of it and makes it look much better. Maybe I'll throw some lights on it and see.

Don't chop up the old style ARB please. Someone will buy it. Lots of folks like the old look. You won't lose money on it. Just will have to buy something else for it lol

@BlackCat -obviously, it's your cruiser and you can do with it what you want!

While I like the look of the ARB personally, and have 2 of them, if I were buying a new one, my favorite is the one from 4plus, and he's in Arizona. He goes by @lcwizard and sometimes posts on ih8mud

4PlusProducts | FJ60 | Front Bumpers | Classic Front Bumper

I also have 2 of his bumpers and they are super stout and have held up exceptionally well. Highly recommended.

What Drew said.

I also have two of the old style ARB's & love the looks...but if you really want a different front bumper, do take a look at the 4Plus bumper...great looking and none more stout.

Edit: And if you do sell yours, I would expect anywhere from $4-600. In your case you are at an advantage of living in a large metropolitan area with many potential buyers that won't have to worry about shipping.

Might want to also post on the Copper State Cruiser forum either on the club classifieds or a general new post. Its not 60 specific, but for folks who live in AZ. That eliminates the shipping hassle if you can find someone who is willing to pickup either in Phoenix metro, or a reasonable drive (for them). There is also the "mudship" concept where someone who is traveling from point a to b can pickup for a brother and sometimes folks can work out a trade, etc.

$.02

 NeverGiveUpYota , I had to search but yes this describes the typical landcruiser dude, for me my lazy mind makes it all very easy: if it works dont break it, dont change it.

frivolous and irresponsible; capricious; volatile
2. mentally erratic, unstable, or wandering

Where are these promo codes you speak of? I'm in the market for my 80.

I like the ARB, especially the old one. Of course my 60 has hundreds of pounds of farkle bolted on it. Having the Hella lights on the cowcatcher does change the visual. For me the black painted grill is a visual plus as well.

Since this photo, the ARB turn signal/marker lights have been deleted and I rarely carry the high-lift jack.
