#732 Pope mobile in the Vatican Museum

When's the last time the Pope was on Mud? Cool picture, but read the title.

737 and 738

72 fj40 in peices
73 fj40 fixing spring over of previous owner, and a repaint ..

Since pics no longer seem to be forthcoming, I'll take 739, 740 and 741 for a, hmmm, let's see.... I guess a '62 FJ40 (always wanted one of those), and my old '83 FJ40 (what the heck, no need to post a pic) and my old '76 (lost those pics yonks ago).

Maybe I'll take # 742 too, since I just saw a really nice '78 FJ40 on my way to work. he didn't have a Mud sticker, so i'm sure he won't mind. it was blue, I swear.

This is nice one. Never thought Vatican used Land Cruiser.

It was in an old specter catalog years ago with the caption "even the pope cruises" with a pic of John Paul looking decidedly groovy.

Wasnt the pope riding on a chair in a glass case in the back? Interesting none the less

I don't remember specifically, but I don't think so. I believe the pic was from before he was shot and therefore was a bit more confident that no-one would try to send him elsewhere so rudely. I think they picture in the glass box is from his Mercedes Popemobile.

I bet Johnny C has that catalog - Johnny?

No box... and no spare. I guess when you have god on your side you needn't worry about flats. Of course, this is not the same rig pictured before as this one is '73 or '74.

This is the same one, however - with PJP
