I have two 100 Series, one at 315,000 miles and one at 215,000. My 200 Series (2014 LX) has under 60,000. What kind of mileage can we expect from a 200 Series in terms of mileage. My mechanic, says don't expect 300,000 miles from the 5.7 liter. He says the 4.7 is the pinnacle of durability.

Who has the highest mileage of a 200 series?

Is that 320,000 miles of kilometers? What have you had to repair?

206K on my 08LC

Only non-maintainece repairs have been the radiator and valley coolant leak.

Towed heavy across the country last summer. No signs of slowing down.
That’s great, Bummer about the coolant valley leak but that’s Still solid for over 200k. Have any sensors like MAF, O2...etc needed replacement ?

Found this one for sale:

~384k mi, but it has the 1UR-FE (4.6L V8).

I have 244k miles on my '08, and have had it since about 200k miles. I have done nothing but brakes, tires, and fluid changes in my ownership. I am getting ready to replace the serpentine belt, belt tensioners, and fan support due to a slight squeal, but it's not urgent. I sent off an oil sample when I got it, and there were no signs of abnormal wear. I had a 100 series that I sold at 327k miles, and I expect to get that from this truck as well.

About to hit 250k. 08LC. Owned it since 60k miles. Radiator only major thing. Spent some time and $ last year on things that needed attention (starter, suspension, rust prevention) Hopefully she’s good for another 250k. That’s my goal anyways. Can’t see myself driving anything else right now. Maybe a 300 series, oh wait.

Guess I still have a baby. 2009 166k. Previous owner replaced the radiator at a dealer as preventative maintenance. I recently had an EVAP sensor go. $88 part plug and play. That's all that went wrong since I owned it. FOB battery died on the beach? That was a headache till someone told me to hold it right over the start button and everything was fine. I do general maintenance and keep the fluids fresh. Curious how long it will go. Hoping for 275-3k.

I used to be a Rover fan but got sick of issues. Always something that needed to be addressed. Honestly there is a part of me that misses wrenching 2 weekends a month. With this LC there is no work to be done besides oil changes and keeping the fluids fresh. Besides an occasional mod it's rather boring mechanically speaking.

I had this video come up on my recommendation feed, but I only skimmed through it. 500k with maintenance records listed at the end. Engine replaced at 414k.

Gosh dang Toyota engineers making everything less reliable and less betterer than the old version all the time!

Good take on the 200-series. I’ve owned a few Jeeps and find them to be similarly needy when it comes to unscheduled maintenance - and they always require something to be tweaked or adjusted, especially as they age.

As I get older, the less I enjoy working in the garage on the weekends. It’s fun to tackle the occasional modification, but that’s about it for me. The LC is a good, start-n-go, kind of 4x4.

This is where I’m at as well. I’d rather spend that spare time behind the wheel experiencing some cools stuff with the family. Once hitting my 40’s the fun of sliding around on the garage floor pretty much disappeared. I’ll pass those skills on to my kids and let them do the crawling around on the floor while I oversee the work.
