Well thanks to Exrsa1 the H55F got installed and ran perfectly for our 2100 mile trip to Colorado!!!
The only hiccup was the shims that we (he) had to play with to get the proper spacing on output shaft....that took about a dozen attempts to get right!
That gearing worked great across Kansas and the low first gear was incredible climbing up the trails! I can't say I got any better gas mileage due to the RRT, but it was a lot more comfortable at 70 mph on I-70!
BTW-thanks for all the feedback on my Q's just before the trip! All that advice helped a ton!
