Got the OME rear spring center pin bushings in the mail today. Thank you so much @torfab ! The rear housing is now fully centered and torqued down on the leaf packs. Ordered new koyo wheel bearings from @reevesci for the rear hubs. Need to get a couple more little seals and I can put this beast back together!

Anyone know the part number for the longer rear brake line for the axle housing? I thought it was something from a T100 or something. I read you use the stock rear soft line up front since its already longer.

My original rubber pads were in good shape and fit perfectly on the TD spring pack. Are you doing away with yours?

Small update. Parts are rolling in to finish this rear axle swap.
New Koyo wheel bearings and hub seals from @reevesci
Other various new parts to finish off the axle as well like new brake line mounts and bolts.
New rubber isolators for the rear spring-axle sleeves are on their way as well as the rest of the seals for the axle and a T100 brake line.
Need to make a LSPV extension bracket to compensate for the lift.

I am going back to the OEM rear spring sleeve clamp setup because 1- I received the wrong bushings to do the delete, too much wiggle room:

2- I didn't realize at the time of installation that Tough Dog actually thought about the rigs their springs were going to go on and made them so they worked with the OEM setup! Or it was just by chance, but either way its a great to be able to stick with the tried and true original setup.

Paint today while the weather was good.

Looks like a work weekend!
Got to get this cruiser back on the road! Its been a loooooong time since its moved under its own power.

Oh my! I want cargo windows!! Got any pics of the refurb and install of them? How much did they run you?

Not yet but I will hopefully soon. @NookShneer and I finally got the last of the parts to finish the builds. We will post of pictures and part numbers when they are done. The used and complete sliders cost be $55 each from AUS. Got them on ebay. The cost to refurbish them will add a couple hundred more in the end I am sure. I don't want to know. hahaha

I know I paid more for mine. They were landed at $100 each US for the pair. And they were junky. I'm thinking I overpaid now.

Swapped the rear springs, I put them on the wrong sides.
The rest of the FF axle parts came in and started to assemble
New main nuts and bolts for the shields:

That is all for now! Tomorrow comes the LSPV extension bracket and hopefully more painting.

Got the new spring isolater pads in the mail (Thanks to Maarten over at CruiserWorld!) and slipped the axle back underneath. Its a race to the finish now! I like the OEM sleeve system much more than the delete with the metal bushing. Happy Tough Dog thought about this. The springs are cradled in rubber and steel and any more vibration dampening in these cruisers seems like a good thing to me. hahaha

A small note, the top sleeve is not fully seated on the bottom plate because the nuts are not fully torqued.

Got a lot done today. Took out the old 3rd member which was a good learning experience. Took me a bit to get those spider gears/washers,spacer and spindle all back in. hahaha Painted it with POR15 and It will be installed tomorrow. Painted the axle housing ends as well. Set the wheel bearing pre-load and installed the drums. Next I need to replace the u-joints in the drive shaft.

Almost done with the transmission cooler install. Need to get a couple hose clamps at the hardware store tomorrow. Lines will get an extra sheath of protection at every point they touch a surface.
