Your way further along than me on the interior work. Nice job! It'll be nice to get it out in the mountains this summer for a trip!
For sure! Can't wait!
The interior is going to be ripped out again though :p

New wheels and tires. Powder coating the wheels a darkish grey.

Blood sweat and tears went into this cruiser. All I could eat was oatmeal to afford parts

Great looking 40 and 62

Headed up to BC this weekend with @NookShneer to pick up the FF rear for Blue Guy from @crawlin cruiser, and also deliver a 12ht engine to Tor-fab......... that engine might have to get "lost in transit" :poof: Just kidding Tor! :D
My Tough Dog lift kit will also be here soon and I plan on doing the axle swap and lift installation at the same time. Ordered up new u-joints from @reevesci

Last bits of parts I need are:
sway bar extensions
Brake line extensions.
I have a new stock rear brake line I think I can use on the front, but I will need a new longer one for the rear if I am not mistaken.

New wheels will be dropped off for powder coating soon. Can't wait to get this cruiser back on its feet and take it for a spin!!:steer:

After a crazy trip into Canada (more on that later) the FF rear end is resting comfortably in the garage next to Blue Guy:

C,

Tough Dog lift was picked up this afternoon and headed your way!

I may or may not have refreshed the FedEx tracking page more than a few times today. Hahaha. Excited to install that sweet new suspension.

Better get your butt in gear on that axle Chase. Can't have that suspension sitting there. Plan a day you want to do the install and I'll come down and give you a hand. It may help keep you motivated!

Ha! Supplies are on the way to clean it up. Definitely going to take you up on the assistance!

Full float is one of my favorite upgrades!

How did the Cruiser Crap and mass-loaded vinyl help with the noise?

I have a 2H in mine and I've taken to wearing over the ear hearing protection.

Where in Seattle are you? I'm in Ballard. Would love to see your work and get pointers sometime.

Sounds like we need a project day Chase! Gotta get that thing moving to hear a difference :flipoff2:
The pressure is on! Good grief! hahahaha.

I feel like it helped. Unfortunately I didn't drive it for very long before I started more projects that are just now close to being done. You are welcome to see the work and if you want, test drive it once its back up and running. I am not sure if the 2H is louder but I wouldn't think so. I have the MLV (mass loaded vinyl) over a thin layer of foam sheeting. The foam acts as a decoupler so the MLV "floats" over the floor pan. Then under the foam is the cruiser crap (80mil). 50sqft was enough for the floor. I should also add that I used 1 lb. / sq. ft MLV .If you need more sound blocking you can get 2lb/sq ft which is heavier and works better, but down side is that its heavier and a little harder to work with around complex shapes.
