any ideas for front diff protection? i have heard of guys using 10" steel pipe caps, but cant seem to find them. any ideas? pics?

Sorry I don't have a better pic. It's 1/4" thick rectangle tube cut down and welded to the axle. then its clearanced on the bottom with 1/4" plate.

You can cut the fixed front diff cover off of your housing, deck it smooth, drill and tap holes, and then use an aftermarket armored diff cover made for the rear axle. You'll have the diff protection, and easy access to the front diff.
