Leaf under 80 series front axle (1 Viewer)

Don't really know where to post this but I am wanting to use a set of 80 series axles under a 70 series in leaf under axle configuration, has anyone done this? Is it possible without converting to high steer? I've mocked up a leaf pack and perch under the axle and immediately realised the tie rod interferes with the leafs, i have then been looking at converting it to Y link steering using a LHD RH steering arm (its a RHD axle) any thoughts on this? Thanks

I would just go to a high steer setup. Definitely keeps things simpler overall. Something similar to the Slee high steer arms would probably work really well
