I think I found the stile I want on my cruiser. Just need some extra cash for the materials. Way cool.

Got a little more work done. The PS pump swap needed some fine tuning. Finally got it taken care of this weekend.

The Volvo pulley works ok. It is narrower than the stock 60 pulley but is wider than the more common GM pulley. Also, the spacing is way off on the Volvo pulley so I had been running about 1/2" of spacers to make the pulley run in line. It has worked fine for the few months it's been on but I wanted it to be right and finally had the time to fix it.

Had a friend with a lathe and mill and we were able to mix and match th evolvo pulley hub with the 60 pulley. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics while we were doing the work but you van see the difference.

And the reworked Volvo hub and now bolt on 60 pulley:

Also when I originally did my mounts, my alignment was off a bit and the "canned ham" was binding a bit on the stock 60 PS pump mount. I took some time and did some spacing and adjusting and got it right in line.

They are suppose to, don't remember laughing at Moab about all the I-6 Toyota engines sounding the same and they all had the same "tick" noise? I think you had an hour of sleep.

Don't remember that.

I still need to adjust my valves. It's running fine but they need adjusting.

Your rig back up and running yet? :D

It pulls pretty well. With the SM465 (driven like a 4 speed) and the stock 3.73 it's a somewhat quick shift from first to second off the line but 2nd and 3rd pull strong.

There is a hill here that leads to a lot of the local trails. It is pretty much a constant 6% grade for 6 miles. With myself and my daughter, I can run anywhere from 50 up to 65 no problem (speed limit is 60). With my wife, both my daughters and all our gear, it slows me down to a steady 45.

On the freeway I am spinning about 2100 doing 70 and it will speed up, not quickly but it will speed up. :D

What is your final low range ratio? It must be really low to be able to spin those 39.5's slowly if you are spinning 2100 rpm's going 70 mph.

How much ya got?

I won't be able to do anything until after Rubithon but we can probably get it done. Do you have all the parts?

I'll take it in trade for the use of the pipe cutter and the D60 hubs. :D

No but I can in a mater of days.
