My roommate did the same thing to his truck this winter

Insurance paid off his loan, we pulled the sheet metal close to straight, and bondo'd the rest of it! now he has a truck he can beat the crap out of in the mountains and not care about..

Im convinced a tall COG and Mud/Rock tires are just about the worst thing for snow/ice conditions..

glad you here you and the doggie are ok!

Glad to hear you are OK.

Don't go towing any Pigs with once you get her back on the road.

Did you get checked out by the Doc?

That was quite a spill. While many seem OK after an accident like that, let me say the human body was not built for that type of thing. It is not uncommon for those walking after an accident to have something needing medical attention. So, if you have not been checked out, get it done. Want to see you around having a great time this day and next!

And bummer re the truck - yet we can always get another one ...

Onur,

I'm glad you're OK.
Those pics don't look too bad. You'll get her back on the road soon.

why'd you have to kick the windshield to get out?

Onur,
Now you get to go through life thing
"I'm already dead" White Zombie thoughts
Seriously that had to be a freaky feeling when you hit the point of no return.
I have been in a few crashing in my life and they always seem to make me reflect on things a bit, take inventory and come out the other side with a slightly different, usually more positive perspective on things.
Does not look like it was damaged to much considering what happened.
Worst part would seem to be the roof.
If you can't fix that ecomonically you may me headed for buggy time:)
Look forward to seeing your questions on how to repair soon.
Scratch your pups back good and hard.

Onur, glad you're ok! Thanks for the in depth explanation on what happened. I drive my truck all over the place in winter and appreciate you describing what happened so I might avoid something similar.

Take care and enjoy some time with the 4 legger.

Onur,
Sorry to hear that your Cruiser got banged up but it is good to hear that you are OK.

Now that you had some time to sleep on it.

What did you do to piss off the shaman? Must have been something really bad like going to NAPA or razzing him in chat. I just want to know so I don't do it.

I talked to Oleg today, he is still recovering at home but saw the thread. he wanted me to give you his best wishes and said to tell you when he is back on his feet he will be happy to help you with your truck.

I don't want to be an ass, but I am very curious. You now have a personal experience that could weigh in on another debate that you have touched on/entered into in the past.

You said before that you removed your ABS.

Was your CDL engaged?

Is your stance still the same on the CDL/ABS debate?

Ditto everyone's comments! Hope to see you back on the 80 road soon!

And if you have hi-res pics of the carnage, send 'em over.

Onur -

I am glad you are OK...the truck will rise again. See, you could have been down here in Memphis eating BBQ and wrenching...but, no you had to stay in the cold and flip your truck. Kidding, I am glad to hear you are OK, I am glad the dog is fine too. My dog goes everywhere with me and I always worry about him in the event of an accident. Stay safe and let us know how things are going. You will be in our prayers.

Wow. Glad you came through OK. You gotta get out of there! Snow, salt, cold-who needs it besides Canadians? Take care.

Oh yeah-see a physician about your knock on the head.

Beno, I'm glad your all right, and that your dog is also.

Did you roll up over (what looks like) "Jersey barrier"?!
I once did that in a then-brand-new 1982 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency.

Why'd you have to kick the windshield out?

I hope you get your truck back on the road as soon as spring arrives. :)

Main thing: You're all right; so's your dog.

I will be there by spring and will be more than willing to help in the wrench fest to get it going again.
Glad you and the pup are ok.

Oh Man....Onur!

I've been away from the forum for a couple of days and I come back to this!

I'm happy to hear that you're O.K. my friend. Also, that your pooch was uninjured.

That had to be a scary ordeal.

I hope the repairs go well for you, chin up!

PS: You did lube it while it was upside down didn't you?

Man that could have been so much worse, just glad to hear you and the pooch are doing ok. Hopefully by now you've both been checked over.

Makes me really miss NEOhio.
