Have you checked with Jackson Powertrain about rebuilding what you have? I had a diff that you’re hunting that needed pinion bearings but it went to the scrapyard a few months ago.
It’s come a long way in a short period of time and is officially back on the road. Still have to fix the alignment of the hood so the body lines are even but minus paint, fender repair and a new grille it’s like it never happened.
A lot of progress today. Drilled all of the spot welds from the smashed core support and donor core support and burned it in. Starting to look like a car again.
Well after fuse box replacement and ecm repair the LS is now running. Was able to drive it into the shop for tear down/damage assessment. Frame rails are straight as the LS went under the Tahoe, was able to straighten the lower core support...
Operation repair/replace smashed fuse box is underway. Too bad Toyota didn’t put plug in connectors under the fuse box. I have to un-pin each wire 1 by 1 and swap them to the replacement box.
Other option is a new aftermarket complete cylinder head is a mere $260 on Amazon
Time sert kit will set you back $100 or so. Used them a lot on the Ford 2v Triton motors while at the dealership. Hell I’ve installed a few in our shop LX470...

Meh…It’s just a hunk of metal. Metal is replaceable/repairable family is not. Car served it’s purpose. Who knows it may be making a comeback just to prove that it can be done…stay tuned
