Glad to hear you made it thru relatively unscathed(and the pup). As everyone else has said, go get your head checked out. Concussions arent anything to play around with. When I rolled my tacoma, I remember the whole accident, going to the hospital, etc. I dont remember the following two weeks......

Worry about yourself and the pup, the cruiser can be fixed later.

Good Luck,
Steve

Sad Day bro. Gotta love snow. Looks like everything stayed where it was. Great pics btw.

hope the doc says you're ok..glad the pups ok too.

Beno---
Man so sorry to see this, but glad things werent worse. Wishing you the best and hoping for a speedy recovery for the three of you.

btw-- before reading i had this pegged for a blizzard trail run;)

 take care and let us know how your doing.

That sucks. I hope you are ok! Worry about yourself first, and then you've got 'MUD to get the truck back on the road!

So... now that the condolences are out of the way, did your rain gutter mouldings survive? I'll give you five bucks for 'em, shipped to 85022- but only if they're not bent. :flipoff2:

AHHHH you keep bringing this back up!! My baby!! For the record, that was the second time it rolled, but I only flopped on the side, not all the way to tits up!

Hey man, you are now in the club...your jacket should be arriving shortly in the mail....;p

seriously glad you are alright...rolling sucks...looks like it held up much better than mine...although there are a lot of things you can see...sounds like a perfect wheeling rig now :) Snow creeps up and is much slicker than ya think...happens VERY FAST!

First things first and that's you and man's best friend are okay... the truck looks fine. new windshield and she'll be ready to go. all the best

Damn bro, that sucks. Glad to hear you and the mutt are ok though.

Hang in there.

Wow! Glad you're ok. I'm sure your hard head is fine....might be worth Xray but not sure what the doc would fine in there...:flipoff2: Kidding of course.

Was that a flop or a complete flip? Sure you can't make her right once again?

I bet Doc is itching for some parts...that snake in the grass :flipoff2:

Damn Beno. Sorry to hear that dude. Keep your chin up, you've come to far to give up on it. Just take it one step at a time. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and man's best friend Beno! Glad you are both ok. Please, please see a doctor about that headache!

Glad you and your dog are ok. One of my biggest concerns when I had my dog was him getting hurt in an accident. Like others, I am curious, did you go all the way over or just on the side?

I appreciate everyone's concern, offers of help for me and my truck.

Again, it could have been much worse. Now that I am in some better spirits this morning, I can discuss some things.

1. Was traveling behind a semi whose trailer started to slip out left and right. I switched lanes and sped up a bit (wasn't going faster than 55mph or so), and his end swerved into my lane and blew up loose snow blinding me. I knew the left lane was clear so I just kept my pace. Once he steadied his truck, I look in front of me and the entire left fast lane was blocked by a two foot wall...I slowed down knowing I was going to hit it....then my tail end spun around, I hit the wall which then took my tires out from under me flipping me once across the median into the other lane. Literally. I was amazed. All of this happened fast and it was over before I knew what happened. My dog was weeping and I jumped out of the seat and went back and saw that he was not injured. I kicked the front windshield out and got out of the truck. A couple had stopped and the man came over to me. His wife called 911. And the rest, well, two wreckers and four winches later, I was back on my wheels.

Thanks to ARB and Christo for their bad ass bumpers that probably saved me eve more in that they were used for the recovery and no damage was done to my truck to right it.

Airbags did not deply, I assume because it wasn't a frontal crash.

This AM, I put the spare tire on the DS rear where the bead had broke. I took the plugs out as Kirk recommended (thanks dude....I owe ya one) and cranked her. Nothing much came out which was a good indication for me that oil hadn't gotten into the plugs and no hydrolocking occurred.

Then, I put the plugs back in, checked all of the fluids and started her up....no problem. Started right up and went right to it's usual 700rpm idle. Completely amazing. I let it warm up and then put it into 4L and locked the front and rear. Both worked fine, thought the xfer stick was a bit tight to pull--probably linkage damage.

Then, I just pulled it right into my garage. There it will sit till the spring thaw when I decide what I am going to do with the truck.

Definitely needs:

1. new winshield.
2. Some body work
3. Probably some xfer stuff. Luckily, I'll be pulling it out for R/R anyway.

Again, thanks to the great cruiser community for your support. You all really are a decent and kind group of people. Pics from today.

Best regards.
