Unfortunately haven’t been able to find out much about it. To the best of my knowledge she’s from 1970.

From what I have been told this vehicle lived it’s whole life in Kaikōura, New Zealand. I bought it from someone who purchased the vehicle from the first owner and had the intention of restoring her but never ended up doing so. Now I have the vehicle in Marlborough, New Zealand and I intend to restore her to her former glory.

Not the tidiest specimen around, but she runs and drives. It’s a bit of a dream coming true.

I just purchased this truck from my friend, @Cirbo. Bobbed bed. 6.0 LS swapped. H42, Orion, Ranger OD, lockers. Lots of good stuff went into this one.

These always seem to have some VIN anomaly. I have a '63 titled as a '64, most likely because by the time the boat ride and wait in the Port of Long Beach was over it was later the following year. Did they even make swb Ute's in that year? I am not sure they were. Do you have the old Aussie title?

So. I'm finding that my 82 is in fact a 12.83 truck. Not sure why they would do that unless it was to avoid as much taxes.
