Just noticed I don’t have a pic with the new Dakota gauges.

BTB.Newbie45,
What shop was the primary lead for the original restoration years ago?
So. I'm finding that my 82 is in fact a 12.83 truck. Not sure why they would do that unless it was to avoid as much taxes. These always seem to have some VIN anomaly. I have a '63 titled as a '64, most likely because by the time the boat ride and wait in the Port of Long Beach was over it was later the following year. Did they even make swb Ute's in that year? I am not sure they were. Do you have the old Aussie title?

Sept 1964 but Titled as a 1965
What’s the back story with this one?
That sounds right, from what I remember it was around that 104 measurement.I didn't know they made a short bed in 65. This one has what looks like a 65 cab with folding windshield and rear quarter windows, and an appropriate VIN for 65.
And the bed is a short bed bed.
I think the wheelbase on my 62 short bed fixed cab was about 104 inches. What's yours?
Thanks, I have been meaning to post just never did until now.@CruiserFanatic welcome to the group! I’m glad you found your way over here!
@middlecalf you’re correct. The SWB removable top 45’s are also the rarest version of the 4 different US Spec Import 45’s. If memory serves me correctly it also shares the same frame with an LV at 104”. But my synapses could just be misfiring…it’s been a long day.
