Hey Chris it’s a crate 6.2 LS3 with H55/ splitcase behind it. I think you saw it at the shop when you dropped off your 45.Rarest version of a 45. Very cool! I dig the tasteful mods. 5.3 or 6.0? What trans did you end up using?
Ha! I wish I had the talent to do this work. All of this work was done by JP Virgo (Clemson Cruiser) at Preservation Land Cruisers. It was a departure from his exceptional concours work, but it is a daily driver and summer beach truck and was designed and built for those purposes. When I pass someone doing 90 mph on the highway, I get some very curious looks. Thank you JP for building this rig!Very nice! Is this new to you or did you do all the conversion work on the truck? Hey Paul. Thanks for the kind wordsAwesome rig, I remember that build. JP is a master.
But I’m curious about that interior rearview mirror JP @ClemsonCruiser .
I got you on the SWB registry.64. I don’t have the truck yet. Here is the picture from the listing. I will have it soon as we negotiate and arrange shipping!

1964 had both options of SWB FJ45, removable top with corner windows and fixed top with two split rear windows.I thought it was weird that my cab has corner windows but I thought 1964 was a split window truck

New here. Not sure where to post butLadies and Gentiles,
I'm currently working on a web based FJ45 registry that was started by rick_d. Orangfj45 took over where rick_d left off and I offered to help orangefj45 soon after that. I'm currently in need of your vehicle statistics so that I can fill in my list and start to debug the database. Any help from you guys would be great. If you do not want to share your info in the public forum please feel free to PM or e-mail it to me bull@toymoco.com. Please note we will not use your info for any other purpose.
The registry will allow users to see exactly how many known 45s are out there and their general location. Other features of the site will help educate owners on which year they own exactly, what options offered etc. Once the registry is live online we will post a link to this group for testing.

You'll see that one from the moon...if you're ever on the moon.Won’t lose that one in the concert parking lot![]()
And the garage door opener!Very nice! Painted the LV to match the chair or vice versa?
How rare would you say ? . I have researched but never really found any numbers of what was and is out there. The cab is actually 3.5 inches longer and the bed this amount shorter than non removable top.Rarest version of a 45. Very cool! I dig the tasteful mods. 5.3 or 6.0? What trans did you end up using?
