You've already done it, but on the 12v the tabs press down and it comes out forward.

I tried and tried to push those tabs with a no go. Have you done? I am only asking as putting the new one in it just did not "Click" in. It had to be forced in.
I going to try and get up early and install some OME springs and shocks and maybe yard off some running boards.
If Cory hasnt done it with the 12v, I know I have. They're a PITA to pull out, but you can get them out without breaking the tabs off. I had a second panel that I installed a bunch of switches in and removed the 12v's and swapped one of them over. But hey, it's been done already.

Shane your an interior artist. What you did for that cruiser has preserved it for another generation. Great pictures and posts. I have gotten many pearls from this. I am, unfortunately for me, as detailed as you. I don't have a good place to do the work yet so I am waiting. I want to do your leather kit and wheel but my air-bag cover is worn as well, the edge near the wheel has a slick shine on it. Do you know of a fix for that. I want to loose that wear shine. How did you find a 100 with diff lock like that? Is it factory? On my 80 I need to recover the door panels as well, it is the LX, do you have all the different vinyls and leathers for that as well? Cost? Put a new, not rebuilt starter on it, that's not something you want to have trouble with! Did you buy factory carpet or is this another item you carry? I wish you would compile a list of the cleaners. lubes and adhesives that you used on this interior build and a how to use them post. Great thread,

I just got out of bed. Had a slight headache after the UFC fights last night.. So I called my owner and asked if I could come in and install some shocks he said bring Starbucks. So I am off to install the springs and shocks and i can tell you that the factory ones on this thing suck! it will raise the front end under at 60 under power and dive as well..
