They'll go up on the website on Monday, October 7th, around lunch time (Eastern Time).

I edited the formatting of the previous post since I can see how this info could be missed, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I see that you're in Hawaii, if I were to order just the catch can to the big island it would cost me $132 w/cheapest shipping option. Just for the catch can. (Note I'm not planning to sell/ship to Hawaii.)
I’m curious why you don’t sell or ship to Hawaii? USPS flat rate boxes are the same price mailed to anywhere in Hawaii as any other location on the US mainland. So a small or medium flat rate box would only be like $7 or $13. Anyways, most people don’t know that about mailing to Hawaii (or Alaska), you might not want to limit your sales if shipping is the same as anywhere else.

Great question, at the time of that post we did not plan to ship to Hawaii/Alaska/US Territories. We've had poor experiences with USPS in the past so I didn't want to risk it. However, since then we have had a successful shipment to Guam using USPS Priority Mail and therefore are willing to ship outside of the lower 48. In the past few months we have added/updated our shipping policy on the website to reflect this. Priority Mail is also insured up to $100, so if something were to happen we could give the customer a full refund and we'd be partially refunded for the kit.

We don't use the flat rate boxes because they don't fit the catch can kits properly. The small box isn't big enough, and the medium box requires too much packing material. Instead we use custom sized boxes to try to ensure that the kits aren't damaged during shipping. Each box that we ship varies in cost depending on the destination. As long as our cost for shipping isn't significantly above our average shipping cost, we're happy to ship to HI/AK/US Territories at no additional cost to the buyer. If the shipping cost is excessive we can work with the buyer to find a different shipping option.

If you, or anyone in HI/AK/US Territories, is wanting to place an order, please reach out to us. We'll be happy to get you taken care of.

Bump/Reminder - The next batch of Catch Can Kits goes live on our website tomorrow around lunch time (ET)! We will also be offering OEM Toyota PCV valves & grommets as an "add on" to the kits. Link below...

Yes, I apologize I made some changes to the shipping settings and didn't realize it wasn't working. But it's all fixed and I've began receiving orders, 5 kits sold so far! Thanks for the support.
Pls. Ship my order,
Order #1028 to California please...

Just wanted to update everyone and thank you all for your support. So far, we've sold and shipped 29 kits! In the first 5 hours yesterday, we sold 20 kits, which is the same number from our first batch that sold out in 10 days. We even had our first international sale which is heading off to France. We're beyond thrilled with the support and excited for everyone to get this batch mounted on their 80s.

You get the catch can, bracket, hose, barb fittings, and hardware. All neatly packed and shipped to your door.

If I were to order just the catch can to the lower 48 right now, it would cost me $shipped w/tax. Note that it's currently on sale, the non-sale price of $shipping (cheapest option) + around $tax (depending on your state) would be around That's just for the catch can.

The hose itself from Toyota, depending on how much your dealer likes you or how much you pay for shipping. The two brass fittings and hardware required are about another

So....
Jegs Catch Can (on sale price)...
OEM Toyota PCV hose..................
Brass fittings & hardware............
Total.........................................$1normal price)

I'm selling these for $160 shipped. That leaves about to pay for the bracket, AND all the money/time I've invested and will continue to invest into this project. I did buy the catch cans in bulk so I got a better price per unit, so there's some profit there too. I understand the price may not be in everyone's budget, however I certainly feel that it's fairly priced. I hope this brings some perspective to your comment.

I would delete this post. Nobody is entitled to this response or the details of your price/cost strategy.

must order asap
3 more orders have come in so far, which leaves 8 kits available. Definitely would recommend anyone jump on the last kits if they're on the fence. The next batch after this one probably wont be until next year.

You're right. At the time, we just wanted to clarify that while we're definitely trying to make money, we're not trying to take advantage of anyone. Based on all the support and orders we've received, we think that's been understood by everyone at this point. We genuinely enjoy doing this kind of work and get a lot of satisfaction knowing our kits are on 80s all across the U.S.

We'll have to think about how we want to proceed. We may end up omitting part of the post. Not sure yet. A lot of the info we included (part cost) can be easily found online, so we're leaning toward leaving that info in. Regardless, we sense that the nature of your comment comes from a good place, so we appreciate the feedback.
