Been running similar sized Mishimoto on a boosted 1FZ for 12-13000 miles plumbed virtually the same. I don't have a oil consumption problem, I check it every oil change and literally wipe it out with a rag. I fabricated everything to install mine, I have a bench top mill and a 12x36 lathe and I could not do what you have created for less than $200.00. Good on you for making it work for a good price. Keep it up.:flipoff2:

Appreciate the encouragement! We’re proud to be able to offer a fairly priced kit, but also do it with quality components. It’s always nice to hear a positive perspective or insight from other “makers” on a project like this.

Officially SOLD OUT! The last two kits will ship out tomorrow. Thank you all for your support. It's insane how quickly we sold double the kits this time around. 🤘

We are starting to work on the next batch, but it most likely won’t be ready until next year. Please stay tuned here and on Instagram for updates.

I think I snagged the last one this morning ;)

All catch can kit orders have been delivered! Yet again, thank you all for the support. Feel free to post an install picture in this thread or on Instagram and tag us (@epiccruisers) 🤘

Currently ordering parts for the next batch and it seems like they may come in earlier than expected. Stay tuned for future updates.

Yesterday I added myself to your emailing list….. what’s the ETA on one of these kits?
Most likely late January/early February. We have all the components on hand now, but there’s still a few things we have to do to them before we start assembling the kits.

Since you’re on the email list you’ll get an email when the next batch goes live. We also post updates on here and Instagram which gives a good idea of our progress. Thanks for the interest!

Might as well join the list too...product looks nice!

Any thoughts on making a second catch can for the other hose from the valve cover? I have a generic one on each hose and both collect oil, but not a staggering amount.

Thank you, and great question!

We’ve never considered it for a few reasons:
  • That port on the throttle body is more accessible and, therefore, easier to clean.
  • There’s not a great spot to mount a catch can on that side, so it would need to be remote-mounted, which wouldn’t result in the cleanest setup. We think that one of the best features of our kit is how compact and clean it keeps everything.
  • During our research, the consensus on the forum seemed to focus only on the smaller hose.
Overall, it made more sense for us to only sell the smaller hose setup at this time. If things continue to go well, we wouldn’t be opposed to offering a separate kit for the bigger hose in the future.

Right now, we’re focused on keeping up with demand for the current kit while also growing our business and following. Additionally, we’re working on some new products we’d like to offer the community in 2025. We hope this gives some insight, and thanks again for your interest!

Any update?
Thanks for checking in! Unfortunately I’ve been out of the country the entire month of January so I haven’t had a chance to work on the kits. Once I’m back in the states I’ll wrap up them up, hopefully by March/April. Thanks for your patience!

I finally got around to installing my new catch can (and PCV valve). I opened the hood today to check it and this is what I found after only 2 weeks of weekend driving with one round-trip on the highway ~376 miles total. 1996 Lexus LX450 with 221,591 mi. on the original engine. Does this mean I'm getting close to needing a rebuild?

Do you ever see blueish exhaust smoke on start up is after a quick rev up? Do you have to add oil between oil changes? Compression test?

221k usually is nothing to be concerned about but this will be dependent on previous maintenance and usage.
