Got this email from Paul at Element this morning. So to keep things simple, if you previously posted a request, I will assume it is for a 50 second extinguisher. If you want the 100 second version, let me know.

Just checked on the forum this morning and wanted to provide you with some more info. If the volumes are up and you need a 4th location to send part of the order, that’s fine.

Also, if anyone asks, the 50 second is usually my suggested go-to option for a vehicle. If you can’t get a vehicle fire under control in 50 seconds, you need to get the heck out of there!

Update:
I had a nice conversation with Paul at Element. With a total order of 100+ extinguishers shipped to the 3 locations (johnvee, crusha & emorth) we can get a 15% discount off of the MSRP. The 100 can be any combination of 50 second or 100 second extinguishers. 50 sec = $67.96 & 100 sec =$101.96. Shipping is included.
Since I didn't know there were two sizes, everyone will need to repost their requests and include the size they want. Let's try for a Friday deadline.

Instructions for how this will work. THE DEADLINE FOR PLACING ORDERS IS FRIDAY AUGUST 14, 2020

1. Wait for Ed to post a final price in this thread before sending us your money, that price will include a nominal fee to CLCC (a non-profit entity) for handling this transaction.
2. Per unit prices are as follows, shipping is included. as mentioned in post #22, CLCC is asking for a voluntary $1 donation (it's voluntary so don't sweat it if you've already paid for your order)
   • 50E = $67.96 each
   • 100E = $101.96 each
3. Payment can be made in one of the following ways:
   • Send the full cost of your order to Treasurer@capitallandcruiserclub.org via PayPal using the "Friends" option (this is a non-profit transaction). Include the word ELEMENT and the number of units ordered in the Notes field. You will be responsible for covering the PayPal fee before your order is delivered should you use the wrong option.
   • Send payment to one of the three individuals through whom you have placed your order (JohnVee, Crusha or raincityrider)
4. Complete payment is due before the order can be picked up or delivered to you or your designee
5. Your full payment is considered a deposit and there will be no refunds given unless the order from the manufacturer is not sent. This is to incentivize you to make a timely pick-up or make alternative arrangements to receive your order and not stick us with warehousing these units. Pick-up at Fall Crawl in late October will be the exception, provided you let me know that is your intent before the 60 day window expires.
6. Delivery status updates will be posted in this thread
7. There will be four separate delivery locations (VA, NC, PA and WA). depending on how you placed your order
   • VA - Orders from CLCC members and former non-local members can be picked up at a CLCC club event or by special arrangement with me (StaleAle).
   • NC - Please coordinate with JohnVee for delivery of your unit(s)
   • PA - Please coordinate with Crusha (Greg) for delivery of your unit(s)
   • WA - Please coordinate with raincityrider for delivery of your unit(s)
8. Receipt of the bulk shipments from Element will be announced on this thread, watch for it because any orders not picked up after 60 days from delivery to one of the 4 locations listed below will be resold and the original purchaser will forfeit the full deposit amount.
9. Receipt of your payment means you are in full agreement to the above.

I’ll take 4. The other rule of fire extinguishers, is the release should be shorter than you last in bed. With that in mind, 50 seconds is more than adequate.
